Such thing as safe sex.all you can do is take precautions ...if you use a dental dam then obviously you aren't going to experience taste or texture.....but as I have never used one,I wouldn't really know...you are more prone to picking up infections if you have bleeding gums or lesions in the mouth xx Freya

If you have total protection, you have no experience. Full experience, no protection. We each have to find where on the spectrum of risk/safety we're comfortable. You can't have it both ways. But you sure can be smart about who you take some risks with, and how. And get a bit clinical, let sight, smell and taste be your guide - if something is off, don't go there! (Duh). If all good and you know enough about them... maybe the risk of unprotected oral sex is worth it. At least in that moment! 😄

Ohers touched on it but there is no such thing as safe sex. To call it safe sex implies that it offers 100% foolproof protection but that is never the case, unless you are practicing abstinence. In truth, it should be called safer sex, the additional "r" changes the meaning. Condoms for instance, do not protect against everything that can possibly be transferred while having intercourse as something like genital warts or herpes could be on areas outside of where the condom covers... And then there is always the possibility of condom failure. As for dental dams, it is a square/rectangular sheet of latex that is placed over a woman's vulva with the idea being it provides a barrier between the person's tongue and the lady bits. It really is the only way to give safer oral sex to a lady. If you're going to give them a try then we'd suggest putting some lube on the lady first then lay down the dental dam to help with the feeling but with the use of a dam you wouldn't be getting the taste of her. Now, you may not see many dental dams around in stores to buy but there are a couple of alternatives you can use: a sheet of gladwrap/clingwrap can work, or take a condom and cut off a small amount of both ends then cut it right down the middle to give a sheet.

You'll have lots on here rant and rave the politically correct position, change condoms, gloves, dams, ground sheet with each partner etc. Most of it is totally theoretical, impractical, hypocritical bullshit. Sex is a risk, often, the wilder the sex the greater the risk, look after yourself, use the large brain, and choose your partners/situations wisely.
