Well if I'm going to die... I'd like to die with with a hard on... so nah. If anything, all the publicity will drive the swinging scene further out of the spotlight. Disrection is still a desirable trait, so being plastered all over the national news for your private recreation choices is not really in anyone's interest. Hugs Stalky

His sex life should have nothing to do with his 'murder'. So many people have met up from this w/site and others, had fun, and not been murdered instead have had a great time.He was not on RHP, nor any other w/site, he had ad's in the magazines like vixsin etc... an how the media portrayed it as underground ... oh how pathetic.You can find these magazines in any sex shop, even at Sexpo which is widely advertised in most states. He did what a lot of ppl do, put down their age to seek out others.... and how they stated (thats the Sunday Age), he went to parties in the Northern subs... how would they know that.. they dont... its only because that is where his body was found... so they assumed only. And on that note - we received a ph call from the Sunday age, firstly asking if he had been to our parties (as we use to hold our parties way out past Epping but havent been there since dec 07), we said No and honestly we wouldnt give out any info on anyone who has attended. The guy from the Sunday Age said, how could he find out any other parties etc.... This guy had no dam idea... he was grasping at straws.... And a lot of people who attend parties use fake names anyway... we just told him, RHP, AMM and vixen (thats how he got our number). So what if he swung, so what if he had other pre-paid mobile phones.... it was his personal life.... Ok I dont agree with Cheating... but the 'swinging' scene should not be put under a microscope for this.Just like with the Maria Korp murder, yeah they swung, but he met another women... so they got rid of the wife.... (heard that many times before in 'normal' relationships... nothing to do with swinging).Who knows why he was killed... maybe it was a business deal that this couple didnt like, maybe they tried to blackmail him and he said no... who knows... And with Rockefeller, we had never heard of him, nor seen a pic of him until he went 'missing'... so he wasnt one to be in the limelight.Swinging has been happening for centuries ... and it will continue...

Yeah deffinately! Its true what Stalky says, I keep this aspect of my life very private, to the point where I'd go out saying i was with friends and actually be meeting up with someone from here and no one would know where i actually was. It seems so risky now I think about it, I guess most people are pretty decent and normal (or Ive just been really lucky!) But now ill deffinately make sure theres at least one person who knows where I am and can check up on me.

Agree entirely with you. There have been a couple of other posts on this earlier in the week mentioning the same sort of thing about him. Personally i think he got murdered by accident and I think it would have probably been something to do with money. and if I hear the media mention the word underground once more, I shall start screaming.

Can i have the run down on this, because although I've caught some of the story I'm hearing conflicting reports. Sunrise said that the police have not mentioned the swingy stuff, where as the today show started off saying 'swingers lifestyle' What do we know, what are the facts so far. Forgetting the BS. After my only time i hooked up with a guy from RHP, the result was scary, cruel and totally unsecure, than the news of the Rockefella issue happened so I'm a little 50/50 on meeting again, but in saying that, I'm willing to try again at some stage!!! Maybe!!! Pp

Hay all in the report today they have said Rockefeller we impersonating a couple and went to the couples house by himself without a partener. An altercation happened because he said his wife was with him and she was not. WOW this will hopefully get rid of the guys pretending to be a couple or give them warning about bull shitting. Oh the latest is that he turned up at the couple's house and had previously told them he would bring his wife but of course he didn't and they had a fight and somewhere along the line he died. If this is true then the moral of the story is don't pretend to be a couple when you are really just one guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard the same this morning Desserts though dismembered with a chainsaw is extreme just because he had no partner with him!The sordid underground of the swingy world does make foe great headlines and an awesome cover for a bigger story, don't you think?I am always interested by peoples perceptions of swinging, but there are so many variables that any one opinion may be right for them but there are many shades of grey.For anyone that is now concerned for their safety due to this story then I suggest not meeting at a strangers house, particularly if you are alone and we all tend to have friends on this site so if you can not tell a family member or non swingy friend, tell a swingy one, make an arrangement between yourself and another person from here that you have met and can trust to tell each other that you are meeting someone in such and such a suburb and that you will message them sometime in the next day or two to let them know all is good. Just an idea, it may work better for some :)xx Salina

As Salina says murder is an extreme punishment for lying about your status but I have to agree with desserts that all those single guys out there pretending to be girls or couples should take heed!! Go back to your porno mags and leave the genuine people in peace!!

unfortunately people get murdered everyday - and guess what - the majority are not swingers!! So what if he was a swinger and he met them through the swinging scene? whats that really got to do with it? If I get murdered by someone i meet at the bowling alley, does that mean everyone will think twice about bowling???

meet at a club, it is the safest place to meet, and never give out phone numbers or addresses unless you are very comfortable and have meet at a safe place numerous times. Anyway, isnt the lifestyle about fun for you as a couple and nothing more. There is really no need to "get to know" or "have them go to your house" unless you are very very comfortable with the person or persons. We make single guy put face pictures on profiles before we select them for our events, for the simple reason that most guys if they are married wont put up a photo of their faces.... Good points raised by everyone so far. People unfortunately get murdered often and for various reasons. I somehow suspect that the people concerned would act violently in many situations if things do not go their way. It just so happened that they were swingers. Having said that, caution should not be thrown to the wind and it really is beyond me why more people don't use clubs for swinging. I guess some people are scared of being attacked when they walk in the door or something. I guess a good idea is to go with the couple you have met and use the club's premises. Anyway that is yet another subject as is the single man pretending to be a couple scenario.

But he did have a female ~ but~ who was NOT his wife to act as a couple. Maybe the 'wife' couldnt be there on that particular night.. who knows. Maybe he only found out when we got off the plane... no one will ever know.More has been talked about - not his murder- but how he swung... WHY WHY WHY. A couple has murdered this guy for what ever reason... and even though we haven't heard that news reports (as I had been at work) and I think the press are making it more sensational to boast its ratings.If he turned up by himself... its simple ... you say.. ok so your wife couldn't be here... so we will arrange another time.No there is more to it than what has been reported... you don't kill someone for turning up a single person.so the story will continue .... will have to wait for the next chapter... so see how 'far underground' he really was....Oh and funny ... have not seen/ nor heard anything on the media where they have interviewed the wife or brother to ask them about his 'underground sex life' ... I wonder why that is... maybe they were into it as well ?????

OK ... so if we are going to speculate... why not really use a smidgen of imagination... for example... they haven't found the girl yet. Really, there are real people involved here, with real families and it is a serious tragedy. Leave the speculation to the police involved, I think. Also, the newspapers will run with any thread of information they can get their hands on... even if it comes in the form of a forum in RHP, so if you don't know any facts, just say nothing. Fewer real people will get hurt by your speculation. I still think drawing public attention to the private act of swinging will force swingers to become more private. Using private club facilities is obviously a very sensible thing to do. Hugs Stalky

all i read is speculation and we will never know the full truth of what and how it happen but all i know is in the end, 1 guy ends up dead, 2 ppl are done for murder! just keep your wits about you and like leesa (couplesint) said meet publicly first til you feel comfortable to take it further. everyone has a reason to stay or remain anonymous on here or any online site. stay safe!

Reading through these posts it's nice to hear how this forum is trying to concentrate on the murder and not the negative press. We have had single guys pose as cpls a few times with us and admit to it being very annoying, thankfully we have caught them out prior to meeting and called it off only to start getting abuse. None of us know what happened, perhaps this was the last in a long line of 'cpls' who's wife/partners could not make it and it drove them over the edge. Perhaps the 'wife' really wasn't able to play, we will have to wait and see. We are very sorry for his families loss and the ensuing media circus that is marching through their lives right now. What ever happened one thing is for certain, he didn't deserve to die.
