Real Llife wife swap

November 05 2018

Ginger and I watched the first episode of "Real life wife swap" on Netflix last night. Jeepers Creepers if that's what we first saw coming into this lifestyle then we would never have got started. What were your first experiences and/or what are your perceptions of a cpuples swinging event that did not meet or exceeded your expectations? Fred - Posted from rhpmobile

I haven't seen the show Fred but will check it out tonight. My experience with a swinging event was a meet and greet here locally and that was a positive experience. It was good to be around a very accepting and fun group of people who were happy to have a chat and a laugh. A great night out! The next step for me will be to come along to the Sydney or Melbourne Meet & Greets that are organised on here. - Posted from rhpmobile

I know many vanilla people who talk about swingers using keys in a bowl. I have never heard of that from any swingers we have met in real life or in person. Does that actually happen? - Posted from rhpmobile

I'm intrigued and will need to look it up after this episode of Friends. I've only recently started going to singers clubs and have had positive experiences so far and looking forward to more. I also agree with localguy, it's nice to be around like minded people. No pressure, just loads of fun.

Just put it on. It says 2004, but looks a lot older.

Keys in the bowl We went to a party in the mid 90's and were told after we got there that we were all doing the keys in the bowl thing to figure out who we were going home with that night. It was eventually laughed off awkwardly but I've always figured the hosting couple were serious and would have happily gone there, was 20nyears too early for us though

Keys in the bowl.. My dad told me a few years ago after watching a movie that back in the early 80's it was a HUGE thing for like minded swingers.. That if you were up for it.. the keys went into the bowl and at the end of the night which ever keys you pull out was the one you took "home". Dad told me he never took them home.. he would just have some fun in the car drop the lady off back at the party or at her place and then drive back home and do it all again the following weekend. I actually wouldn't mind the old school idea of it. Keep it spontaneous!!

I hear jokes about keys in the bowl often although no one knows the journey we are embarking. Were you disappointed it didn't eventuate?

I could think of nothing worse than leaving it up to chance as to who I was paired with for an evening. For me to play there has to be attraction, it's my decision whom I engage with, not a random selection of metal. Fred, I haven't seen the show but will definitely check it out soon 😊 My expectations were very limited. I kind of "fell" into swinging rather than it being a deliberate decision. After my divorce I started seeing men, then meeting women to exploring couples and progressed to clubs and parties. I guess as a single I don't have to navigate as many factors as a couple would either. So I think it is easier for me in that regard.

That in those shows it was couples only. No single women allowed at the parties or single guys😟. One guy had to "couple up" with the French girl. If not BOTH were not allowed to go. Unicorns would not exist in those clubs and parties. .🍍 The Aussie swinger couple would be devastated to the max not being able to add a third🤖.

Louis Theroux does quite a few Docos on Swinging etc. "Altered States - Love Without Limits" is his new series and will air on BBC Thursday 20 December at 8.30pm. I do like his Docos. Ms Foxy

@foxy, Louis Theroux is the best isn't he! I've always enjoyed his docos, he just does such a great job of engaging people and talking to them about whatever subject he is presenting!
