Luck or fortuity is good or bad fortune in life caused by accident or chance, and attributed by some to reasons of faith or superstition, which happens beyond a person's control.Boring enough description?Whether I'm lucky is something I think about. The many prizes I've won, I don't enter that many competitions lol. The games of pool where there is that element of luck that went my way. The people we've been fortunate enough to be in contact with online and in 'real-life' lol. Is it just a matter of attitude?Hope that's better. I always found the harder I work the luckier I become... apart from that' I won 1st prize with Timmy (my dog ) in a school dog show when I was 5... and he was a bitsa' but not much since then... But I did win the heart of Mrs JJ so how lucky am I... Mr JJ

Yeah MrsP, I got lucky/fortunate/my ship finally got to the dock/however you want to describe it... After going pfffttt to RHP and the "men" I'd met, I quite by accident, (or very good fortune) met my lovely man, and its been like winning the lottery for the last 1 year, 11 months and 3 weeks. Happy Anniversary for next week darling man. xoxox VB *have also won cooking competitions, got through the RAW regionals, and won with my cattle at shows, but I think all of those were more knowledge and skills based rather than sheer dumb luck.

Dear Mrs peachy, I am lucky to have two children who are alive and while not always well, they are doing ok. One of those children has brought me a daughter-in-law to add my riches. I am especially lucky to have two beautiful grandchildren who I adore and who love me and are a reminder, when I am really down, that life has its blessings and I am indeed loved. I am very fortunate to have some great friends who support and cherish me. I now have a job working in an area I am passionate about. I have passion in my soul and that comes through my voice so I am lucky enough to have the gift of song. I have a body that, while getting older, still allows to see the beautiful landscape in which I live, hear the sounds of the birds, smell the salt in the air from the sea. I have arms that can hold my grandchildren, my children, my friends and my lover (when I have one). I have legs and feet that carry me around and let me dance and play. I have travelled and know I will continue to do so. When it comes to love, I don't know that I am that lucky though when stacked up against all of the other wealth I have in my life, overall I am one lucky woman. (Hey Cupid, get your arse over here and shoot some fukka with one of your magic arrows please) WILDly greatful

Hmmm Nev, first and foremost, now that the subject is no longer ruffling over, any chance of sharing if you feel lucky? Awww hey Firebird, a pleasure it was to meet you. I'd like to see us at the next drinks night n all LOL, getting to drinks nights is one area our luck hasn't been running too high lately I'm going to have to say that I think you are very lucky Mr JJ to win the heart of Mrs JJ. I loved your post, it was thinking about Mr P' that first got me started on the idea of this thread Trisexual, all I can say to that is ouch! Woohoo VB! I feel very lucky every day that i haveThe love of a good womanGreat kids.....well at least when they're asleep....lolA roof over my headFood in my belly everydayLive in a great countryThat i have choicesThat i have had 48 years on this earth....hoping for a few more yet heheheSo many dont have one or more of these.As far as other things go.Sooo Jose....your the prick who gets those car parks.....hmmmm i only ever see them after i have had to park half a mile away and walk past.....whats with that.I am the type that always gets busted/audited for everything while everyone else gets away with it.The only thing i have ever won was a bbq chook at the pub, which my mates proceeded to devour.....i got none!Then again i am not into gambling anyway.Cheers Nev

Next thing you know we're gonna have a thread on talking assholes... Yeah right, what am I thinking... hehe, we already got plenty of them!Can really appreciate every single point on your list. There was a time when nearly each and every item on that list was lacking. I'm not into gambling either, but often win the occasional raffle ticket, lotto, magazine puzzle competitions. Some of the best advice I ever heard was to only gamble with money you could afford to lose... I don't like to lose LOL.Re parking places, dunno how Jose does it, but this works for me. I simply like to say, 'thanks for the parking space'. Don't say it all the time tho cos I don't like to push my luck hehe.Thanks heaps for posting again... Hugs Deb xox
