Over there, the wet over here is so unpredictable but you guys are copping it EVERY year, not fair and then they announce it been our hottest summer recorded ever?   I will get some of my local aboriginal friends here to sing the rain away for you, they have an uncanny knack for predicting big rain a week out, good people. It's worth a try.   Keep dry and my dry thoughts are with you.

But bloody hell they are just being belted! The rain here goes to Kununurra through the Ord river which they say is up, didn't know water flowed up! That being aside and I hate to say it but your right, we need a hell of a lot more rain.Aboriginal saying - "Only fools and newcomers try and predict a wet"Another one I heard today - "Government white fella come like a seagull, land, shit everywhere the piss off! It's been a funny old day. Inspirit, may your donga be clean and your hi viz pressed and sexy as......

The age old tell tale rain prediction sign is the ants... I had heaps about a week prior right up til the rain bucketed. The lil mongrels took over my cupboard and anywhere else they could find a feed. Now' thanks to the good ole 'ant rid' there are few.. Cant complain about the indoor sports I had to endue, but a nookie on the sunny sandy beach under a palm tree wouldnt go astray..

Even though we are the coast.. we rarely get rain here. It rains all around us even 40K's up the road. Just not here. Rumours say it is because of the salt flats or the flame from Pluto.I haven't asked THE locals as of yet. Be an interesting story i'm sure.As for Hi Viz..... Only wear it when I have to greet the seamen.

Quoting 'coops14' here in perth, we have had nothing but 30- 35degs pretty much everyday for the last 3 months.. we need some cooler whether and rain... give us a break! If only we could swap a little of their rain for a little bit of our heat, there would be a much better balance! Poor lawn is painful to walk on, it's so crispy. All the best with the weather Superfox, I've seen pics of the flooding and heard stories of people unable to move around because of them. At least forced to have a home birth and another who can't get home! The wonder of the world, I love a bit of rain (being careful what I ask for here) balanced with a bit of sun and not too much heat.Peachy

Bless them, my aunty (I have several here)assured me all will be okay over east in the next couple of days. I told her she sounded like an Italian potato grower and she said that I was in no position as an ignorant gardia (not precisely her words!)Aunty squeeky then pronounced it was going to thunder down tonight and cackled as she walked out into a clear blue sky. Well about an hour ago my camp dog was crawling up the fly wire which is a sure sign of an impending storm. Sure enough as I type it is thundering, really thundering down.Okay inspirit, I know you don't have to wear Hi Viz to greet the seamen! What if you just wore the reflector strips though!!!! Could be a new kinky line of lingerie for the boys and girls in the Pilbara! Imagine inspirit with only reflector strips to guide you single Pilbara fellas..... tickets please......

I DO have to wear Hi Viz to greet the seaman and steel caps :( tried to get away with steel capped stilettos though NO GO they said. Only because the heel gets caught in the steps. Do you think Aunty can forecast for here. Karratha to be precise. Thanx in advance.

Saturday, I hit the wall of "what the". It's so depressing. Every now and again it's okay, but 3 weeks, gee whiz - I am sooo damn over it! Open up skies... Please... I need to feel the sun on my skin again, dammit!
