QLD flood victims

January 28 2013

I feel so sorry for the QLD flood victims. They are barely back on their feet from the 2011 floods, and will lose everything again... and have to endure the long horrendous clean-up afterwards ... yet again!! I can only imagine how incredibly devastating that must be ...big hello and chin up guys were thinking of you down here in sydney, god speed

Thanks Jsk767.... Mother Nature can be very cruel at times. My parents live out Lowood way in the country flooded in AGAIN!!!... They are stranded, no communication no nothing...medication for mum has to be airlifted in yet AGAIN!!!... I told them today to invest in a BOAT!!! I give full credit and nothing but admiration to SES volunteers and those willing to help with the clean up afterwards.. That's when community spirit comes alive!!! God Bless their cotton socks!!!!- Posted from rhpmobile

I'll tell you what, with the new pic, it just sits, like watching the evening news.I agree with SuperFox about the peoples spirit up there, they have copped it ever since I can remember. It's no doubt that there is plenty of sad stories each time, though when you see the live coverage, it's encouraging to see how those guys up there make the best of what they can.I dunno SuperFox maybe this is why dad doesn't have a boat. Thanks jsk, Mado
