One can be enjoying themselves so much that they go to a different place in their mind. Doesn't mean that they are pretentious. Probably you were doing such a great job that she went to that place and for that moment in time, you became just an accessory. It can also be the difference between sex and something more. Plenty of times i have had sex. Great sex. But sometimes its the act and not the person you are with that takes you away to the place of ecstasy. It is easy to blur the scene(for me anyway) and become 2 figures in a mirror whilst overcome with the sensations of being fucked. And I am far from pretentious, quite the opposite. Poor OP, People get nailed to the cross for so many reasons here in the forums, you can hear the constant hammering.. bang bang bang.... or is that something else??? Anyways we have given the OP a baptism, hopefully he has not run from here, as he is entertaining, and despite the questionable segway into the question, it is a legitimate question. I personally battled with my prejudice towards the "Perfect people" when I was younger and dismissed them with little to no regard to there actual skills and quality of their personalities. Why? A mixture of jealousy, envy, and stupidity. I did have friends that all the girls chased, they grew up surrounded by women who would say and do anything to be in their company. Sadly for some that went to their heads and a level of overly inflated ego set in. If you are constantly being told you are awesome, well what else can you conclude. For the few that did not match the rhetoric a level of pretension set in and they became rather unlikable and tended to exaggerate their importance, their skills, and their knowledge. Nothing worse than someone who does not know everyone can see the BS. Unfortunately I have lost track of the extreme examples of these people and 27 years on I do sometimes wonder what became of them. On the whole most came to realize that though beauty is admirable trait, it is not everything. Seldom can anyone survive on beauty alone, and having hot air blown up your ass all the time becomes an annoyance. There are many physically beautiful people my age and I do not find them at all pretentious. They are on the whole very likable and social people. Beauty & Pretentious behaviour is a flaw mostly of younger people, it is rare and a result of the fact that the mind is struggling to keep up with the expectations that others place upon them. But most get over it, as we all slowly get over our flaws. Its been a long time since I made a snap judgment on someone just because of how they look, for really I was the pretentious one in my early 30's belittling people just because they where good looking. Well that was my waffle for what its worth.
