TR, I don't think it is a problem with the old regs (I kind of qualify, well maybe) posting, it is often what they post that can kill a thread or throw it so far off topic it could be in a new timezone! What probably puts any newbie off is when they see the pack mentality of some here. Recently there was a thread that one person, a relative newbie, made a throw away line and was immediately set upon by at least three regs. Maybe it is time for some of us regs, me included, to sit back, bite our tongue occassionally and let others dominate or at least contribute to the thread without having their opinions belittled or just ignored.

No, it's just that some old posters need some new material. Same shit, different day ..predictable posts ~yawns~yeah yeah, i get it ..click next.Now, lets look at Freya for minute, she would definitely lead the league in forum posts but she also has a good field goal percentage. Always insightful, witty, unbiased and enjoyable to read ..bit like yourself TRSo please, stay glued to your keyboards you 2 I realize some of the newbie's may be a little sensitive at times, but i've also seen intelligent, well liked members play the wanker card too. Cheeky comments bordering on the smart ass end of the scale! ..highly unattractive.

The more the merrier. Its the nature of forums - people take a wile to get in to the groove and those who've been there for a while get a bit tired of the topics and think its going downhill. It not though and it takes all sorts to keep it interesting. To be honest TR I did initially wonder why you had to post on everything but then I came to find myself interested in your take and on your stories so I'm glad you do!

Mooka has bouts of heavy posting and then goes away only to return again all freshened up. I know I get up his nose but I actually enjoy his presence here. I have noticed that TR's posts are less frequent of late but when she does post, it's always frank and refreshing. It's disheartening, when an old thread gets bumped up, to see how many of the personalities have left. Stalky, Roxxy, Felonious, Midnight, GB and others. It feels better when they are absent from the forums but their pic still shows up next to their handle, as it does for Mooka, 'cause you feel they're not gone for good. There's still room for newbies (we were all that at one time) and they are often very good for the mix. I think we can all do with a break from time to time. I've been contemplating a departure myself, I even deleted all my pics in preparation, but as I was being harrassed by one of the other members, I stuck it out. I didn't want to give her the satisfaction of thinking she had chased me off as she'd done with others. Well, that's finished now so maybe a hiatus is in order. We've got Mardis Gras and Sexpo coming up. After these, I'll give some more thought into what I should occupy my time with.

(or what I say is completely irrelevant - it happens a lot). To me, this RHP thing has been a steep learning curve. Without all sorts of diverse opinions on anything and everything, my experience would equate to what Freya so aptly labels 'the bland lands'. Like I've said before, if my comments are the result of my emotional/sexual immaturity/inexperience, then I take each comment by others as a learning experience. I don't think things should be taken so seriously, just taken as an opportunity to evaluate your stance or belief system. Having said that, I also understand that we, in the sandpit are all people who have different experiences, backgrounds and opportunities in life. Sometimes someone is just having a shitty day. Fuck now I'm rambling. What I'm trying to say is that if newbies don't post anymore because they've been scared off, and those who have been here for a while don't post anymore ... Then ... That's just poo. I want to hear from all sorts of people. I have so much to learn and I don't want to miss a thing!!! Please stay Tuscan and Funloving. Your experiences and wisdom are needed for us newbies.

I like to think the oldies are matured like fine wine...and newbies are like fine crystal wine glasses.... Mix these two together and that makes perfect conversations, good company and an effin awesome night!!! However sometimes wine is spilled and sometimes wine glasses are broken.....makes the night a complete disaster with awful conversations!! I am going to continue to makes posts. The last thing I want is for the regular people, who have played and posted,fairly and squarely, to stop posting on the forums.Martyrdom is not the answer to what has gone on before so please don't feel like you have to bare the cross for the small few who have done the wrong thing via the forums and who have deliberately thrown a spanner in the works just to cause trouble. The ones who do it know full well what they are doing and that it spoils it for everyone else. (They like it that way. Keeps everyone in their box.)If there are genuine misunderstandings then that can easily be cleared up if both parties are open to reconcile being up-front and honest in full view of everyone right in the moment on thread (where possible of course due to delayed posts.) This itself would preserve the integrity of the forums and repair some trust issues and general insecurities, real or imagined. If this happened a bit more then the moderators wouldn't have to step in and shut up shop when the threads have degenerated and are just too far gone morally to warrant keeping them open.The forum is for everyone. Not just the new or old. Everyone. I hope you all stay tuned in and contributing to the forums.

I completely understand what you mean. Unfortunately I have another jackal on my tail making my life difficulty. I have decided that I am no longer having fun, and it's no longer worth the fight. Just maybe lose the keyboard and play with the mouse a bit more..may I suggest just looking at the perty pics instead of opening up on their thoughts..or flooding boards..or any other things that they may consider are bugging more then one poster. I come and go in waves. Flit in flit out.... and look out for the interesting peeps that can have an opinion better then I can express.

Wow this is all getting a bit serious. I wanted to have my say in the heirachy thread but have been busy of late. The forums relate to me in the sense that paintme referred its such a wondrous mix of personalities that dont always get along but have differing views and individual opinions to share. Some share those views like tuscan in a raw witty humourous way others straight forward and sometimes personalities clash and shit eventuates.If things are messy I dont go there........If I have an interest in a topic or 2 cents to put in I will......Fuck why not.Have I been scared of posting .......yes sometimes, I have as things are raging but this place needs everyone with a voice and I hope that the characters that abound stay, say what they have to say and RHP will be better for it.p.s. I miss stalky too.

as Meeka has said, there is a Jackal in the hen house that is reporting comments before any mis-understandings can be talked through on the forums.That does leave a nasty air to the forums as many problems are left unresolved without the opportunity to kiss and make up and leaving the people concerned look like they bad guys, when in actual fact they are not.It is the person with the itchy trigger finger and seemingly speed dial to report central that is to blame for a lot of unrest.

I've said this a few times to different people but the fact that newbies have such a terrible delay from typing their post, moderators reading it and their post actually getting put up is pretty off putting. There's a few times where I would have liked to post but the forum thread has been moving too fast with comments from instant post people that i never bothered I'm still not even sure what the process is to get promoted to instant posting privileges as there are people I've seen join up after me and only posting a few posts before getting instant post rights. other than that on the whole my experience has been great on here. I love getting different opinions on things and some of the advice some of the oldies can give is great.

TR you know I think you are one of the funniest people on the planet.When things get bit hot in here,I just have a drink of your cool humour.Ya make me laff a lot....and many others...On a personal note your take on sex and sexuality has been a revelation for me.Yeah see,ya can teach an ol' kitty new tricks. While it can be hard being a newbie here persistence pays off,and as Jman has said we all have to develop a thick skin sometimes. I think it's a shame when whole threads are shut down or deleted because someone is offended.While I do not condone bullying or abuse,unless it is your own stupidity you want to see deleted, then I think all posts should stay.It says more about the poster than the person they are attacking.I have only ever complained once about someone and quickly realised how petty I was.

I wrote this (but have since edited it) for a thread that was recently closed down in defence of TR and her choices TR is a friend of mine offline - I know her very well…met her husband and kids, know a few of her friends, socialise with her, dined with her, slept at her home, ………etc etc. Now TR knows that I do not approve of her lifestyle of sleeping with married guys - …good for her…..she doesn’t need my approval nor does she need/ want it..…..we have discussed our various lifestyles and I’m sure she thinks I’m the biggest boring geek/prude going (I am) – but the fact of the matter , is we both know each other’s history and experiences and what our motivations are for what we do….….we do not judge each other…and we like each other. This is what life has taught me………………as much as I want life to be black and white, and for me on many issues it is…....when it comes to friendships…true friendship is unconditional but it may at times have shades of gray .. What matters to me is this…..TR has a heart bigger than Texas..she came to my aid, when I was kicked to the kerb without question last year…..she offered me her home, her support, her finances etc..when I became a victim of an injustice. Her husband came to my aid and so did her friends………..and at the end of the day, that’s what matters to me ..how TR treats me……………we may not agree on quite a few things but that hasn’t wrecked our friendship and I hope it doesn’t………Yes TR has sex with gorgeous young married men – half her friggin luck – I can’t even find a decent single guy to have a drink with – she’s not having affairs with these men and trying to destroy their marriages… (which by the way is a completely different kettle of fish ) she’s providing what I see as an essential bloody service and enjoying herself in the process and no doubt saving a few marriages………….and she makes no apologies nor does she have any illusions……….and these guys (some of who I do know) treat her bloody better than the muppet I had a date with the other Sat nite – told him I was doctor and he was intimidated. FFS !!!then up and left me to pick up the tab..sheesh – and ate all the frigging beer nuts !!! So folks..I reiterate…people may have different values, morals, ideas from you………..so be it…we are all unique………..but this does not make them a BAD PEOPLE …..it just makes them different from you..that is all and all that matters to me, is knowing that when the chips are down..and you are down on the ground..there is someone standing above you offering you their hand in support and friendship TR – I understand that you have a fair bit on your plate at the mo – and feel the need to leave the forums seeing we caught up yesterday – as you know we were a bit pushed for time so I wasn’t able to tell you all that I’m writing now TR…..you piss me off at times….but I know your hand is above me should I need to reach for it again….ditto…I just hope I never have to help you like you CHOSE to help me…I’m glad you’re on my friends list And for others contemplating leaving….. I fully understand the need for taking a break for sure – we all need timeout but please don’t close up your profiles and leave, you will ALL be missed…….just perhaps leave your laptop in sleep mode for a time …

Coops has now had to come back for another try and getting his point of view across... His point of view.... I think we need to remembers that's what makes us unique - out point of difference . I remember back in the msn chat rooms the moderator was often o e of the group ... They could warn people about behaviours and if necessary spell them for a time ..... Perhaps thesis needed. I just want to say that I learnt a lot yesterday. I had no idea that posts were delayed for new people until Freya13 pointed it out to me. I am probably stateing the obvious here but when Meeka100 was offended by my comment? I understand why. Because it came in so far down the line it didn‘t ‘seem‘ to‘ fit. As it didn‘t follow straight on from Mookas post talking about multiple profiles v‘s multiple personalities? Which is a tongue in cheek I was referring to. Anyone that reads back over it (and i‘m sure many of you have) can see that. I felt just misunderstood and a bit humiliated, definitely frustrated, but we live and learn. Whatever happened to Stalky? Did he have a happy ending? And a hearty agree to the problem about newbies having to wait so long for posts to be approved and posted. Even a forum tragic like me nearly gave up this time around, having to wait 24 hours for my posts to show, then seeing them completely irrelevant to the path the discussion had taken. There IS a whistle blower that seems to be making it their job to moderate people's points of view. ... to be so much unrest on the forums at the moment which saddens me. When I first joined the site I would be in stitches reading the antics of Stalky and Meeka, DGT and ChasingMidnight to name a few. I can't remember the forums being so heated and I can't remember them always getting closed down. Not sure what is going on any more but its lost a lot of appeal for me. Sorry you are leaving TR and Meeka too. Think it might be time to hang up my boots soon. Just hanging in there for Shinas atm. Very disillusioned atm. :-(

Wow...so much tension, so many rude people. The forums really bring out the best and the worst in people don't they! Ah well...it's all part of the filtering process. I've learnt to skip to the next post as soon as I read anything negative in a post (or anything I have a really violent dislike to). I may be missing out on some juicy information but it keeps my sanity :)
