*Ping pong table versus Pool Table

June 25 2010

there has been some discussion on another thread (M & G * Meatloaf) about ping pong balls, billiard balls and evilboy, mike, mike, mike a & mikes likes in drinks and balls....about the pros and cons of each. When we get together for our next "what will missb do this evening" What would you like to see the ladies and gents reaching over (to hit the balls that is)... .....a pool table, or a ping pong table?

I thinking saw someone in Bangkok doing very interesting things with ping pong balls. My vote lies there. Hugs Stalky

a pool table is structurally more sound. No one wants to be rooting on a ping pong table whilst it decides to fold in half ;)

True on the rooting thing..... and besides, unless I'm on my tippy toes a ping pong table is too high... I've had this same trouble with kitchen benches... so I'll need to pack my little foot stool. :p Hugs Stalky

with some chinese sandalwood glory boxes, desks and kitchen benches thrown in. I think we will have to throw the vote open at the next Melbourne meet & greet night (see events page.) ETs Hotel, on the Friday 16th July. they already have a billiard table....wonder if they would consider setting up a ping pong table for us for the evening?

easier to clean a ping pong table afterwards rather than the cloth stains on the billiard table, however a billiard table has more holes to fill/ places to tie down to????????

lol missb ...the devil made me say it! Actually is was evilboys reference to you and ping pong that got me to thinking about balls... Ping pong versus Billiard that is. But now you have me thinking with talk of "seekers" and Finders....maybe the ping pong ball could be renamed the snatch? (or is it the snitch...always get that damn name mixed up) We could have the RHP Quiditch Australia wide tournament? With qualifying at the respective states drinks nights? Hmmmmmm....check the events page for your states upcoming dates.
