What are you after Pup the post or a list of breweries? And why just down south, there are plenty around Perth and up here in the Valley. xxMiss Honeyxx

Hey there Pups, . Normally I'd only pass on the advise if I was invited to come... but MrsPups bum always has me willing to give in without trying. . My fave has been the Bootleg Brewery. Just because it was one of the first and I love the setting. Duckstein gets two thumbs up, every time I've been there they've had a specially brewed beer... last time raspberry. I also like Feral in the Swan Valley. . I haven't been to a bad one! Have a good time over there.

We found Elmers to be great too. Big steins and an awesome selection of food too. Also loads of wineries in and around it, so if you don't mind cheese and wine you guys can do the lap of the wineries and finish at Elmers all very close to each other, like within five minutes.

Little Creatures in Fremantle is awesome. Norfolk, and Sail and Anchor Pubs. If you go Margaret River/Dunsborough way, Bootleg and Duckstein as JG mentioned, however a workmate was there on the weekend and the places down there are starting to take the piss a little with their prices, don't get me wrong everything is yummy, all the places a beautiful, but they are gettn a little carried away... I am from down south and those places have changed sooooooo much! Good and bad... Lamonts is one of the beautiful wineries for lunch, but there are sooooooooooooooo many to choose from mmmmmmmmmmm While u r down there hop on a bus to tour some wineries, a few of my mates did it and loved it, they all made up new identities for themselves and ran with it all day, met cute peeps, gr8 fun lol! Or a bus round the Swan Valley, breweries Feral, Duckstein and 4 more i haven't been to! Plus loads of wineries! Sandleford is a beautiful one, but they all are! In Perth Northbridge is pretty dodge and crusty these days, a lot of peeps hit (my fav) Beaufort St, Mount Lawley, Brisbane, Queens, Flying Scotsman and the Inglewood Pubs and lotsa nice bars/restaurants in between :) Leederville is another fav, has everything there too, or Subiaco. They are my regular spots, but there are more! Wow, i have a lot of favourite places! I might stop now, b4 it is confirmed that I must be an alcoholic , my nick name at work is social lubricant... I have no idea why that stuck? P.S. If you Google Breweries for Dunsborough, Margs or the Swan Valley, they'll all pop up!

Oh some great advice, we just need to stay for a few years to really immerse ourselves in this lovely place and to even attempt to see all that Boobs suggests. Thanks Jean, it was your post I was initially after, well you could always be a tour guide and get me pissed and entertain my wife ;)

Quoting 'puppy'Oh some great advice, we just need to stay for a few years to really immerse ourselves in this lovely place and to even attempt to see all that Boobs suggests. Thanks Jean, it was your post I was initially after, well you could always be a tour guide and get me pissed and entertain my wife ;) That doesn't sound like a bad job at all... I'd feel guilty taking money from you though, so I'll just do the tour guide bit for free! My entertainment is of course always free ;-) . It's a pretty cool place once you adjust to not being free to do grocery shopping at 2am if that's what you want to do isn't it!
