Paragraphs

We can't seem to write in paragraphs when we're messaging people unless we use the mobile app. When we hit return it sends the message, is there something dumb we're doing?

I just experimented and seemed to be able to add paragraphs... Using a Samsung on mobile site

Try holding shift then hit enter, when you want to insert a hard return on the website chat - Alex

Glad you asked, I wondered the same. When I hit enter on my laptop to go to another paragraph it sends (I rarely use the phone app)

Make sure your phone and app are on the latest update. if still having issues From app ... Bottom right Help & About Us Help & Support Contact Support or ticket list

I think everyone has the same problem on desktop or laptop, I couldn't find a way around it. It works perfectly fine on the mobile.

In your keyboard settings there should be an option for enter key sends or something like that. I'm surprised anyone sends paragraphs, at best I get a sentence.

As someone who is fond of the lengthy, structured message this frustrated me. Not the only frustrating thing about Rhp to be sure! Shift enter works on a Mac. Or maybe it’s one of the other control option command. Definitely one of them works. (On phone now so can’t test!)

When on a PC (Windows 10) use the Shift+Enter to move to a new line.
