It's not on, I'd love a register for fake profiles!

Yeah it’s happened to me a few times recently. I don’t understand what they hope to get out of it 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’ve reported them to RHP and the profiles mysteriously disappeared...

Wtf!! Not on at all. With the availability of apps today more needs to be done to verify & eliminate this across all platforms. I’m sick of fake people & profiles.

We had a guy steal our pictures but it’s actually an offence under the intimate images act in NSW Report it to RedHotPie get them banned.

Other sites give you the ability to watermark your pics with your profile name, perhaps RHP should add this to their site.

Report these people to RHP admin and their profile will be removed.

@missy_mo0 - that's a really great idea, and shouldn't be too hard for a dedicated dev team to take care of, but I'm not sure what RHP's staffing is like. I believe there are also free watermarking services out there on the Web that we could use before uploading any images. Anyone worried about it can message me and I'll try to point you in the right direction. Hell - if I get enough takers, I'll write and host a service of my own to take care of it.

If you want to watermark your photos you can download an app called marksta. They have a free option

Came across a lady not only was she using someone else’s photos but lied about her looks and intentions. What was she hoping that we would feel different because she was lying and stole someone else’s identity. Then she got upset because we didn’t want to know her. If you can’t be real and don’t want to show people who you really are how can you expect them to want to know you at all. Just saying.

More importantly how can they do this and get away with it ? Definately not on and should be banned from rhp for life ?

If it's the site I'm thinking of it also plasters the sites name across your face along with your profile name. Really not a great idea when you're thinking anonymity. The same site has another function that reverse image searches all new pics and won't approve them if they come up elsewhere. It means you couldn't use your RHP pics on it unless you resave them in something like photoshop or affinity. It takes a few minutes on photoshop to put a transparent watermark across your pics, do it all the time at work, but haven't bothered on here yet. Probably need to work on the six pack before anyone bothers to steal ours😂 Interestingly a guy at work had a pic from a band appear on a UK vanilla dating site. Came up in a reverse image search and he still hasn't managed to get it pulled

Just a word of warning for any free online tools. If they're free, they're generally getting something from you. In the case of a lot of photo editing tools, it's a copy of your image. So careful with the nudes!

Yeah I've come across other profiles passing off pics of me as their own... it was flatteringly creepy.

Same, just reported them to RHP admin and their profile disappeared. They say copying is the highest form of flattery but definitely not on with photos!
