my man, is early 50s. he sees himself as a partially shy guy, polite and courteous to everyone. But i see him a little bit differently. He is smart, and articulate and knows how to behave at any level and has the ability to see things as how they are, and not how they seem. This gives us both a huge amount of protection, saying that, he can take his time to find beauty whereas the first look , maybe you would not notice it. So for me its not just the better sex, which i am sure most people will agree with, but the maturity and understanding, goes so much further. i think though , that there must become a time with the older man, when a younger might just get the better of my man, time will tell, but for now , and for the next decade i will give the thumbs up for older men. advice for younger men, would be; take your time, its not just about you. you dont learn to play an instrument in a few moments, so how can you possibly learn the inticasies of a woman in this time also. good luck everyone, and a wonderful topic.

I only go for older men. If they are under 25 I'm not interested. But in saying that I do have a limit as to how old I will go. That limit is 35 although I have made an exception or two, once or twice. I usually like men around the 30 year age mark. I think they make the best lovers. I find them mature, inteligent & they treat you like a lady. Somthing a lot of the younger guys totally forget about. I also just find older men more attractive and a lot of them have a similar outlook on life to me. Taby.

Have you seen the new add for JEEP.... doesnt Tommy look great for his age 70 yrs young I say ..another good sort is Craige James from Commsec that is on Sunrise in the morning mmmmmmmmmmmmmm 49 and a body to die for plus intelligent mmm Been to a few social networking nights ..young ones stand with a mouth full of teeth and a drink in the hand ..the oldies having a laugh and conversing on every subject under the sun. ..younger f%% and run cars parks ...busy ..baby sitting problems has the kids on the weekend has to go to vic kick so time poor and cash poor too etc.. Hi its nice to hear from ladies open minded on age. Most seem to be ok to the 50 s but having tuned 60 I realise it is all a state of mind. We have been married 40 years and enjoy regular sex ( to which I add a bit of cyber) we had a period of swinging with nudist friends. Now my wife feels she doesnt want to return to swinging but is ok with me looking for a little more experience. However finding a partner is not so easy at this late stage. I just love it when females close their mind to any man over 40. That means more for me, thank you very much. We always have those who for some reason or other equait age with decrepidness. Not so. Seems all the women here want either old old or young young. Having been on this site for 6 years and only met 3 women, two of which I shouldn't have even agreed to meet. It seems none want someone in the 30-40 age group. Having said that there aren't many single women on here to start with. 90% of the ones that are listed as single aren't. But the same goes for couples who are even more picky than the single women.It is funny when a women says she likes an older guy but limits it to only a few years above her own age. It is their perogative though. They have plenty on here to choose from.Must say though most women that are younger don't know what they are missing but at the same time there are older guys that are crap in bed as well. Age is just a number, I think a lot comes down to outlook & attitude. I've meet a few ladies for a coffee & most are suprised I'm very much the same in person as I am online (ie not a keyboard warrior) I'm 45, been told I look late 30's, act about 17 (but what male ever really grows up :P) so on balance I'm early-mid 30's :) As to whether the 40+ age group is sexy, that comes back to the addage of beauty is in th eye of the beholder & theres more to beauty then just looks, that attitude, confidence thing seems to go a long way.

As an older male with a much younger woman, I think the dynamic works both ways.Older men, if they're smart, have not only sexual experience, but life experiece as well. My wife has loved exploring wines, beers, foods with me. Because I'm widely read there is a breadth to the things we can discuss. I'm also often calmer and more patient. I may not be as athletic in bed as a younger man, but I do treat sex like a three course meal...something to take your time with, enjoy and make sure everyone leaves feeling satisfied and happy with. For myself, although not a shabby man, I have seen the need to well and truly get myself in shape. All my health indices are moving in the direction my GP wants them to. Well, I'm surprised to read so many posts from women saying how much they like older me. Can't say it's done me much good, but there you go...maybe it's just me! :) My impression has been that the overwhelming number of women using the site are after men south of 40, whether its a toyboy or just someone close to their own age. Well as a woman married to my high school sweetheart of the same age, with whom I'm exceptionally happy. I have to say there is something appealing about an older gent.Something just oozes experience... I am like taby. Always went and gone for older guys. For me Minimum age a guy has to be is 35 and even at 35 iam still not that interested. Majority of the guys i got for are in their 40's to early 50's. When i was in high school i would solely only date men in the 30-35 age range. The older i get the older iam broadening.

You cant "tar everyone withe the same brush". It's normally the ones who do this who see themselves as "one who stands out from the crowd." I am in the "older guy" demographic, and am proud to say I have kept myself in top condition and have had some very nice compliments (both on appearance and performance) from younger women we have played with. My advice to young bucks out there is stay fit and make the ladies satisfaction your number 1 priority. Long live the "Older Guy"

i often find i feel very mature for my age. and i have had some good experiences with older ladies.. however it would be nice to meet someone around my age who had an open mind and didnt think i was like all the other... i do understand that most guys my age and younger do not know how to treat a girl or cannot connect on a more than physical basis.. all im saying is we arent all the same :)

I often feel immature for my age and enjoy it. I think it helps keep me young at heart. I am mature when the need calls for it and then just like to be me at other times.. I think we are wandering a bit away from the beginning of the thread which was that some ladies like older men, cause we are older.. Older males are more likely to be both more patient and forgiving in bed.I will go out on a limb and make the following statement: A Gen Y or X, for that matter, will find it very hard to compete with someone who has had an extra 20 or more years to explore life...the wines, the books, travel, cooking and who has kept himself fit and healthy. Grey hair and laughter lines are irrelevant. It's the whole package that matters.

Depends on the man in question. Jerks don't always fit a chronological age and number of years on the planet doesn't always equate intelligence, sensitivity, skill, humour any any number of characteristics I find appealing. In an ideal world, you would like to think a little experience would result in a better end product but sadly, not always the case. @drewnaly I know one guy in his early 50's who thinks he's wind swept and interesting by quoting Mark Twain etc., but is actually bald and boring...just can't manage to figure out what he's doing wrong when it comes to getting into a womans pants. I've also always had a thing for older men (even a few years older) my partner is a fair bit older than me and I wouldn't change it for the world. Firstly, lets just get one things straight....older (whether we are talking about males or females) does NOT and never has in this or any other parallel universe mean BETTER. Sorry, just the facts here. This being said, i have had some lovely older lovers but the great majority have been far younger than me and have proven to be incredibly skilled lovers, often FAR better than their seniors on many occassions.
