Off line v On line for undesirable fruit cakes?

April 02 2012

Finally a 2nd topic not sure if it's been done before......and a bit of a story. So my partner goes to play with a seemingly nice, good looking educated young woman, he met in the off line world at the airport. He had text comms for a while and then made a date to play whilst interstate (with permission). Obviously there was no open discussion beforehand (like on line) just a lot of sexual innuendo. The day- She slept all arvo and made no contact with him so he assumed he was stood up.....she rings late and he arranged to meet and have dinner, she agreed and then calls saying she was eating a burger (lol! He text me dinners out) and perseveres........She had no card or something and asked to borrow $100 til later on that night. He said no at first but then gave it to her later- he is a genuinely nice person. She then goes off into the Cross to score Heroin!!!! and says she will contact him later. My partners reaction to her was that it wasn't on, it's not his scene and he walks away from that sort of shit. He rings me like WTF totally spinning out....my take was how rude, OMFG and that she was not going to be much of a playmate if she couldn't lift her head!!! He rings her and says keep the hundred dollars and no thanks- worried about how she would find that $ elsewhere. She was all apologetic and full of excuses (at the start of her heroin career). She then calls him at 1 or 2 in the morning and needed somewhere to stay whilst he was still out drinking. He is ever the good Samaritan and also thought he might get a bit (he did like her, they had been chatting for months). So in his inebriated state he said yes and she ended up not in the mood, preferring to talk for hours until he went to sleep. The next day she rings him- calling him someone else's name and when he says with a much clearer head that he doesn't want a friendship and hope she gets her shit together before it's too late, she abuses him. Some people! So the question- Do you think the proportion of needy fruit cakes are the same on line as off line. I am not sure, I think that heaps of people think dating sides are more full of crazies, I am leaning towards parity I think.

I would have to say in the last two years that we have been meeting people from the online world as a couple. We have come across more people that act and treat others in a way that we would call strange or disrespectful than in all of our life in the offline world. That said it really depends on where you spend most of your time in the offline world. We sort of come to expect it now and just keep a eye out for the warning signs and ask lots of questions. In hope it gives the fruit cakes a chance to trip up.It's a scary thought that your partner while under the influence of alcohol was potentially willing to play with a lady who was potentially a very high risk due to her drug habits.Tim

yes....theres the same proportion here as 'out there'..... but here, heroins not the 'drug' of choice....here its sex..........   what Cass says...."She was all apologetic and full of excuses (at the start of her heroin career). She then calls him at 1 or 2 in the morning and needed somewhere to stay whilst he was still out drinking."........ is a pretty standard scenario..... my ex and I experienced this very same tactic from one of her family members.... but I'd be thinking more along the lines of this being a tried and tested routine, and not something newly learnt...... if she was spending $100......which is maybe 2 points .....shes no beginner....

Have to say RHP isn't the worst site for crazy.   and yeah! I've met women from both online and offline that have tried the same with me OP.

Yeah he is glad nothing happened, I said the same thing when he called and he agreed- it's a learning curve and hopefully we don't need to use what we learnt. He's a man, needs a leash when he drinks like that.....in fact I will put one on my shopping list one of those ones that you can give them some slack and then pull em back in as required. It'll be pretty......I wonder if they come in leather?

That is a scary one multiples.....but I suppose if they are in the real world then so to online....my guess she had had some succes on here before leading people on.....as always tread lightly and keep your eyes open..... Touch wood (maybe its safer lol) my experiences so far have been all good.

...and please do report back after you've had a chance to read this to him? I am sure that the "family discussion" might be equally entertaining...of course all may be forgiven if you find the right bit of leather, Cass. | I've been caught out in "the real world" but the story is a bit long to type out here. Suffice it to say that in the end, the police were more than happy to pick up the suspects that were detained by a concerned citizen and return them to jail. Have to say though...she was hot as hell while it lasted and so what if there was just a teeny tiny bit of alcohol consumed. | Online I think people eventually do prove themselves out...although more difficult as you don't have the benefit of body language, eye contact etc. so inherently a bit more caution is warranted. The internet is called the information highway for a lot of reasons so any more I suppose it's really just another extension of our modern persona and person. I would agree with you...parity across the board. | Moral of the story: Don't try to pick up hot chicks when you're half cut at the airport. | Epilogue: Cass, can I borrow $100 please?

Hmmmm CM is it the airport or being 1/2 cut? Are you really saying men shouldn't try and pick up under the influence- if that's the case maybe that's what's wrong with the off line world because 99% of the picking up world does that, don't they? What a great revenue raising strategy TUI haha......Trawling under the influence. He was sober when they met and wouldn't have drunk so much had she not spun him out so and left. I never said he was 1/2 cut at the airport how did you know pmsl- that's why he needs a 2-3 hour margin for error so they can piss on ;) Cass xxx

...blend into the crowd, and stay reasonably sober. Resistance falls over as does half the competition....not that I've ever kicked back until just after midnight before mixing in with the crowd on th prowl. | Quoting 'multiples_xxx'I'd make you earn it | I'd be happy to pay it back with interest....and if you don't now much about loan sharking I'll teach you. Even with a wage of $100/hour...colour the weekend gone. | Oh darn.

Naw thanks WW- apparently she was a bit of alright ;) It's funny he goes for some females, I wouldn't and I go for some men that he wouldn't. Go figure. If there was no history it may have been different.....they had contact for a few months and he was really looking forward to it. he lives in a sausage fest for 2 weeks at a time and as he says by 10 days in even some of the local bar girls that they wouldn't look twice at are re-considered towards the end, til they shake their heads and focus on the home straight. * There is a difference between fruit cake and Full of Fruits, Biscuit Cass xxx

It's always difficult to say who is crazy, or if a place is full of fruitcakes, it's all realative, some people may think you're crazy, but then you yourself may be considered as crazy in a diff. way.One thing for sure, some people who aren't involved with what goes on here may have an interesting opinion about our psychological well being.
