Nude Beaches & Locations for Photoshoots

February 25 2012

Hey, We hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far :)We are fairly newish to the New South Wales region and we were hoping for some suggestions........I think the titles gives it away probably! The first is that we are wondering how many and where are the nude beaches around Sydney or located within an 1.5 hour drive. Are there any beaches that aren't specifically for nudists however they are quiet enough to wear your birthday suit?We are also looking for new locations for photoshoots. To start with we are looking for areas of natural beauty that we can shoot it as we have a lot of indoor photos. Although any kind of location suggestions would be welcomed :)Look forward to hearing your suggestions, thanks in advance! M&Cx

There's little congjong beach at La Peruse ... from the car park walk through the first beach and along the path to the second beach. It's popular with the boyz but some ladies also take advantage of it. The water is clean! There's also a couple of beaches in the National Park. Werrong Beach is very secluded and very pretty (closer to Wollongong end of the park) but the walk in and out with a load of gear is a trek for which you'll wish you were fitter. There's also little pebbly beach accessed at the far end of Bundeena Beach. It's pleasant! Then on the harbour there's Obolisk Beach which is very protected, on the North side of the harbour via Mosman, and Lady Jane Beach on the south side of the harbour via Watson's Bay. Spectacular. You missed the best photo opportunity which was Spencer Tuniks photoshoot at the Opera House foresteps with 5000 naked enthusiasts, this time last year!! Hugs Stalky

Obelisk in mosman and Cobblers beach which is in the same spot but on the opposite side of Middle Head Rd.All lovely spots. There is one particularly beautiful spot you could use for photos, if you're standing at Balmoral and look directly across the water towards Manly, there's a tiny little beach which sits in between the heads looking directly out to sea. You can get there via Seaforth, just have a quick look at a street directory/google maps. Beautiful little spot and pretty quiet too but probably not quiet enough to be a regular birthday suit spot. Seeing as you the photoshoot thing was brought up, I've recently picked up some new gear and need some models...it's not paid but I'm more than happy to give you copies of any photos I take :-)

as well as Stalky's suggestions, if you're an active sort then there are some secluded beaches that you can get to via paddling over from the non-beach side of North Palm Beach. (You can also drive and then follow the trails down to them, but after doing that once, I think a kayak ride would be quicker and more enjoyable)
