These are some of the lyrics to the song "Not Perfect" by Tim Minchin. As it is valentines this month and in light of all the forum topics here where we all love to pick each other to pieces, I thought it would be nice to remember to love ourselves for who we are so BBW, fatchicks, cheaters, fakes, well endowed guys, not so well endowed guys, sunburnt asses, boring male fuckers, smokers, non smokers, trannies, gays, bi's, the curious and the experimental and trolls........(and all the rest ofcourse) Lets make the 14th of Feb one big love in for everyone on RHP! You're such a romantic Sal. I just got my copy of FHM mag in the male and i was leering at the lingerie.... and I never once gave a thought to valentine's day... I got entirely distracted by the article on "exploring her dark side" what with all those japanese knotted ropes and stuff... I mean.. there are so many distractions from valentine's day.. what can I say?HugsStalky

Those lyrics are wonderful for every day. As a single person, Valentines is a pretty unpleasant day. But Feb 14th is just another every day when the lyrics can and should apply... . Thank you for sharing them Sal

Tim Minchin is one weird looking dude but he is very talented and puts on a great show. You picked a great song there Salina. Like other singles, I don't find Valentine's that great. Very overrated (commercialised ) now. However, as a romantic, every day I am with a woman is like Valentines. I enjoy the company with her but always remember that I am not perfect. Just strive to be the best I can. So gotta agree that we should all strive to treat each other well on these forums. Let's see if it happens.

But Feb 14th is just another every day when the lyrics can and should apply... this is my first valentine's day as a single. my ex and i were never really into the hearts and flowers nonsense so not having the romance doesn't bother me, i'm just worried that my fellow committaphobes might all hide at home that day and i might not get any NSA action :p xx Sarah

I saw the doco on Tim Minchin in the last couple of weeks and this was one of the songs that was featured during it. And yes, it is something to remind ourselves of everyday. And another thought is "I am perfect in my imperfection". Self love is the most important love. Cheers WTG
