Great thing to try, great fringe benefits lol to make it a viable business though, you would have to see if the numbers stacked up, there's a lot of competition out there. They are all discreet, the donation part, I personally would just look for the cheapest price. If I wanted to donate to charity, I wouldn't be looking to do that through sex toy purchases. You would have to, in my opinion, beat the competition with price. I have some experience, not with sex toys, but i can tell you, it's bloody cut throat. You have to be prepared to work really hard and your business becomes your life. If you love what you do, like I do, then it's amazing, so no harm in having a go, just do your research first to look at profilt margins and good luck. Definitely love the product

It might be a flooded market? Think about what makes yours unique, where is your niche? - Posted from rhpmobile

If you're willing to eat 10% of your margin, then fine, but otherwise the wallet will vote and the same item for 10% less elsewhere will be bought. Also, since you'd be the one donating 10%, the buyer likely can't claim the tax benefit AND since its bundled as part of the purchase price for the item, the buyer is going to be hit with GST on the donation portion too. if you can match the price of other sellers then yes, you can capture a share - if you're trying to be big, what are you bringing that differentiates you? Fuck the donation idea off, if I want to donate, I'll do it myself - forced donation is like giving children the 'gift' of a donation you made on their behalf.

have you done your homework ?There are already a good number of players in the field, and some quite well established.Have you done some basic maths to see how much you need to put up to get op's going?Nothing good comes cheaply. Probably best to get some financial advice first to make sure you can make it all add up, before it subtracts heaps of cash you may not have. Tall

There are loads of online shops aren't there? So not sure if there is a need for a new one - but that doesn't mean you can't make money. Do some reasearch and see.

have to say the 10 percent profits thing is a noble thought ,but if people want to donate thats for them to do in their own time, then they also know the money was actually donated ,hardly think your going to show your sales sheet to every one to show them you donated how much and the amount donated from your bank , ,most people will just want the cheapest price full stop ,heres an idea ,offer fellow rhp people that 10 percent discount of the actual regular price ,that may get more business swinging your way ,haha see what i did ,,lol, but then again a percentage discount of what bottom line is always the question ,10 percent of a low price is better than 25 percent of a highly inflated price ,if it were me, id look at set up costs and how much you have to outlay ,if its nothing and you can just be an onsender then great ,no loss but different story if you have to put out money cos then its a different fieldof pressure of recapturing your money mr b

Might be some money in novelties. I just randomly came across a novelty item on Ebay, a wind up jumping jolly pecker hopping penis 15 bucks with free postage Now if I wound that up and put it um, well you know, could be fun

Have been to one of those parties it was so much fun. We got to handle the toys on display but not shove them up your fanny or arse. That could add a whole new demension to the try before you buy concept. Would make more jobs to as you could have demonstrators

There are questions a mile long, and here are just some basic ones: Do you have any experience in online retail?Do you have the technical knowledge to maintain and run an online store? Are you aware of who distributes certain products? How would you differ from other online retailers?Do you have the capital to begin such an endeavour?

Interesting.... Are you proposing the OP add "online pubic hair styling service" to the mix as well as just selling sex toys online? Truly innovative, would you submit pictures via an app, and for a fee receive photoshopped style pics to try?

Wish someone would open a new one in gympie.....or if they at least put some effort into the shop....I like to be hands on so to speak, then you can be sure it's what your looking for and size , material it's made from etc.....online can be very disappointing at times.....the sextoy parties are good too and lots of fun...😋

Quoting 'ArrestYourself' There are questions a mile long, and here are just some basic ones: Do you have any experience in online retail?Do you have the technical knowledge to maintain and run an online store? Are you aware of who distributes certain products? How would you differ from other online retailers?Do you have the capital to begin such an endeavour? Good thoughts. I'd add maybe the website, creating that is a big hurdle, unless the skill is there to do that ourselves, but those technical issues can be overwhelming. The initial outlay would depend on what quantities the wholesaler requires you to buy op, even if you want to start small, there's usually a minimum number of items from a wholesaler, but less is more would be a good business model to start with, maybe one do it while the other maintains a regular job and then see if it takes off. The other thing to consider is storage. Storage space is always lacking and more so with a home business, but these things are all just thoughts being tossed around. If it's a second income, you could just go for it, so long as your outlay wasn't too huge. Most of what I know now has come through making mistakes. You know the old saying, if you make a mistake, especially with money and if it's a big screw up, you don't ever do it again. Well you do, but you make different ones lol and so gaining more experience, few years down the track, you'll be running the biggest sex toy empire in the world
