There was yet another Bushfire in WA yesterday no loss of life (human) lots of property damage and livestock killed...The fire had six seperate ignition spots the ploice say...some sad people out there. . To all our friends our thoughts are with you one and all. I hope you and your families, friends are safe. . Mike

hi to all in the floods or to any one that has friends up there hope you are all safe and i hope it is over soon for you as you will have a long to to fix your home up and get your life back as i took me just on 1/2 year to get my home rebuilt as we had 5 foot off water in the house the 3 car shed that was wash away and we lost the lot all we had was what we had in the car when we drive away as we save owe life came back home week later and start to rebuilt the home and the sheds it is a hard thing to deal with as you loose so much stuff like all your kids pic,s every thing all we had was what we had on as did not have time to pack so all the pp up in qld i no how you feel just like to say you will still have your life and friends to help you deal with it and there will be pp there with big harts to help you out as well and pp that love you so my hart go,s out to you guys and to them that are not in floods hope you dont get to feel what it is like so i just like to say to all rhp pp up in qld my hart go,s out to all of you and if you need to talk to some one who has deal with flood and had there life turn up side down well you can talk to me if that will help i am glad to ok

We can't always fight nature but we can always work together to help each other. My kids have donated their pocket money to the appeal....and we donated our "fun" money. It's not much, but it's the only way we feel we can help at this time.xxx

You have been through a tough time and come out a survivor working on moving forward.Hopefully many others will be as fortunate as you to have such a strong resolve to geton and rebuild their lives after such a terrible ordeal.Dont think I could be as strong as you if I ever had to face such a situation.Hang in there everyone, know that there are many thinking of you all.Feeling rather helpless here.

Have most of my family in Qld........all safe thank goodness.....thinking of all who are effected...unbelievable vision....I was schooled in Rockhampton lived and trained in Bris .......can not imagine the clean up ahead....mind boggling and heart wrenching....keep safe all

Any one lucky enough to experience the 1974 floods and survive with out much damage, then they are predicting that this flooding will blitz the '74 floods - so sad the unexpected deluge to hit small towns - some have been lost for good !!what will brissy look like when they open the flood gates of the dams that are over 100% capacity ??stay safe and be careful our thoughts are with you all !

We will be donating our entertainment money this week to the WA bushfire appeal. Give up your DVDS, take away, dinner out, night at the pub or club. Donate that money to the appeal! Then we are having a week off & will be donating to the QLD floods. If you can afford to still go out then make sure you match what you spend during the week! If you can spend $150 on food & entertainment in a week while all this is going on then you can afford to donate $150 too! . There are people who have lost everything and they wont be able to hit the movies or have a romantic dinner for a while now. Mrs H Sending heart & money! xx

As I sit here hearing helicopters flying over even here on the Sunshine Coast, I think of the people of Brisbane. They're just sitting there waiting for it to destroy. "4:30am tomorrow morning t's going to hit the city!!" 'They're saying, Faarrrrrkkk??!! My heart also goes to to all those effected. Especially those who, have already lost their loved ones, homes, communities, and at this second are leaving their homes behind, with not much else besides the clothes on their backs. Food and water is running out, buses have just stopped, the city is evacuating, the waterfront restaurants and pontoons are now washing down the Brisbane River smashing up other boats and buildings, half the city is already in ruins!!? Not looking forward to the news tomorrow... Now they're saying it's moving to NSW and VIC. Crikey yes, Mother Nature is pissed off about something huh?? I know several RHP friends who have evacuated their homes, and some who are still stranded all over the state without power and water. Shout out to 'Basti' stranded in Mooloolah, hang in there xo! And one in Toowoomba who is safe, thanks goodness..Big hug and kiss to Meaty XO! Family and friends have been stranded on highways since Christmas Day trying to get home to Rocky and Townsville...Hey Daz!? If 'only' you listened to my flood updates, and advice, costly mistake!!?? hehee.. ;) A friends dog was washed away yesterday at Yandina, but luckily other than that everyone I know (I'm hoping..) are well. Stay safe guys.....thinking of you all....what would we do without phones, 'the net' and eachother?? awwww hehe...it's the only thing we seem to all have...so keep in touch, and thanks for your updates...Love always, Tank X Oh yes, and my bed is safe, and warm and dry if anyone needs somewhere to sleep tonight? I have room for a few actually..!

If ur the kind to pray .. Please pray the cyclone that's sitting way of the coast of queensland ( it's quite far away so no need to panic yet) stays where it is or fizzles out .. Something we really don't need anytime soon !

Ditto to what every single person in this post has said...My heart beats quite hard right now for the despair that 1000s of people are feeling. Look around and appreciate eachother and what you have. I am really glad this post has started. I think people need to air their feelings and emotions and just let it out! Warmest hugs to everyone xxx
