After spending a little time organising hard drives, restructuring playlist's and generally editing our music collection, for some upcoming parties we are hosting, I thought I would ask the following........ Whats your favourite song What was the last song you listened to full tilt on your sound system When did you (or have you ever) listened to something from Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell

My older brother, whom I shared a room with as a kid, had a copy of Meat Loaf's Bat out of Hell, on vinyl of course. I was equally fascinated and frightened by that album cover. The artwork gave me nightmares!!! But I used to love all of the songs. I haven't listened to it in years, though. As for favorites songs, that changes daily. Well, almost daily. I will get on a kick for a while, and then I will shift over to something else. Ah, Bat out of Hell...I might just have to go track that one down for a spell...

Meatloaf... "Paradise by the dashboard light" got five plays in the last 2 weeks.Favourite song..... tough question. I'm listening to "Dry your eyes" by The Streets.. it's a great song... probably one of my favourites because it's passionate... and only by reason that it's playing right now.... it's my favourite right now.HugsGaz

Weeell I get enough of Meatloaf on the radio, which is OK as the best place to listen to him is whilst driving! Fave song is impossible as it changes daily and I can't compare Led Zep to DMB to Buddy Guy now can I? Ohhh just resorted my HiFi and Jeff Buckley got a fair work out and everything is still working, phew!

Listen to Bat Out of Hell often. My favourite song that I play loudly enough that my teenagers complain...especially when I am picking them up from school and the windows are down......is..... Another One Bites The Dust! l Coincidentally I have always said that if I ever take the plunge and get married, I will be walking down the aisle to this tune!

Being amature audiophiles "Puppy" I agree with your thoughts, for us we will listen to different styles and genres depending upon mood, activity and of course Artist. Right now, I would say that we would lean towards modern country, but Gav has just discovered Epica and is enjoying any form of Rock Opera at the moment. Stalky we will have to compare databases at some stage as we too have a rather large and diverse collection. "wowwow09" I see by your age you probably missed out on the Panel Van at the drivein's and such classics as "Streets Of Fire" (Jim Stienman had some influance over that as well) and the various wonderful memories it brings back for those of us who did not, you offered a critique but did not bare your soul for us to respond??? would that be because you like ......Milli Vanilli?
