It's a long time since I was influenced by a young couple as a young teen to dress for comfort, not society. No knickers most of the time since then until recently under the light dresses I mostly wear these days. I have a thing for strapless, elasticised bodices, under which I can hide many flaws hehe. It looks quite funny in pics I've cropped when I end up with a pic that shows no trace of clothing on the top LOL. It's essentially for comfort 'cos I overheat hehe! I carry a black pashmina for those moments I spend too long inactive in air-conditioning. Brrrr... . My hair is long but has aged incredibly gracefully for years now, that I have very few silver strands but they are as long as any other hair on my head. . I've been wearing an elasticised 'bra' when I have to for as long as I can remember. Again for comfort because it has straps and a bodice like a singlet. . Comfy shoes with low to no heels, my favourite pair at the moment has a design of a butterfly in beads across the upper strap. Pretty! . I have more regard for societies rules that I don't expose too much of myself, more regard for my self-esteem and a concern of the sickos in society that I don't want to expose too much of myself these days and I want to feel more secure but comfort will always come first.

C'mon girls, stop beating yourselves up.....guys will alway focus on your sexy good bits! So true that girls look in the mirror and worry how bad they may appear while most guys look in the mirror and see how sexy they look and how they still have it! The only fashion faux pas is the VPL, far far better to go commando, and even better if you let your man know it!

Women that wear ridiculous high stilettos that they can't walk in. Any sexy effect they are hoping for is ruined by the ridiculous way they walk. Not classy ladies. o.O

for comfort. My profile pics are my pretty standard dress. My kids think I am lame because I wear my nikes with jeans but I love my nikes, I live in them. Love my boyleg undies too, they are comfortable without the overflow. I don't follow fashion trends and due to my work, I am a pretty conservative dresser coz if I get the girls out, there are guys that can't speak and even get a hard on when they see a bit of cleavage.

I have a muffin top, well I call it my spare Tyre. Most of the time I am fine and accepting of it.. Sneeky little bugger it is sometimes as it creeps right up, when I have my visitors. It's a bugger of a thing. To answer your question OP.... I wear clothes that I like and what shows of my figure as well as what I feel comfortable in. I try to dress conservatively and other times well you know..sexy. I have started to wear a lot more dresses now a days. My mumma always compliments me on what I wear so I don't wear to please her just what I like. When my daughter was living with me, I would always ask her opinion, when getting all dressed up for special occasions. I must invest in some of those magic knickers tho. :) FOXY I was Darling Harbour today and Sydney airport..I loved people watching there - some of the sights!

Is very conservative. No short skirts, no tits hanging out. I love long flowing skirts and a plain black top.I might show a little bit of boob when playing poker, its a little diversion. Not a lot of boob, just maybe one button undone. No heels anymore as I have vertigo, but I did wear them to the casino meet and greet and then kicked them off and walked home barefoot. I am judgemental when it comes to women who are mutton dressed as lamb. A man knows your a sexy girl, even when you dress from head toe. LadyT class before arse

Back in September 2012, wiccan_beltane decided to make an effort to post a different subject every day for the month. She was successful but then, once it was out of her system, her posts cut back dramatically. I think it may have exhausted her. (G'day Wiccan, by the way, in case you're looking in.)I think lilmiss_fussy might be on track to break her record. Good luck, lilmiss.Fashion faux pas, ...okay. Well, I've never been very fashionable but I do admit to missing my hawaiian shirts from the seventies.

I am a tragic 90's girl. Still wear the ridiculously short mini dressesand the skin tight jeans. You remember theones where you lie on the bed with a coat hangerto zip up and then peel off inside out at theend of the night and don't dare pee all night. I still reckon at 5'9" I can get away with the shortdresses and heels which put me close to 6' I have a minor muffin top but am happy tosay with weight loss and exercise is disappearingand hopefully will be a thing of the past.... But, I still say be happy in your own skin.Exude confidence and others pick up on it. Cheers Leanne :)

But, what's the go with ladies/younger womb wearing shorts that short that they are obviously uncomfortable in because they show half of their butt and they try and cover it by pulling their shirt down? You obviously put the short shorts on for people to look at you, why get so uncomfortable and cover it up? I don't have problems with curvy ladies, I quite like them actually, but there nothing is more of a turn off then seeing a girl who has dressed without a mirror. same goes for blokes I suppose. I'm no muscle man so I don't wear tight fitting shirts...to hide my keg, no one likes a keg unless it's just been tapped at a house party. But I have a killer pair of legs, I didn't miss those at the gym! As long as you are comfortable, go with the flow.

If anything, I'm dressing a bit more daringly now than I ever have before. I think discovering Black Milk had a fair bit to do with that, as it opened my eyes to other types of clothing that I would never have worn before (e.g. leggings, bodysuits)...as well as realising that right now I can get away with it and so I should make the most of that while I can. That doesn't necessarily mean showing more skin, although sometimes it does (not to excess in public though). I still take into account my body shape and what I'm comfortable in, and generally prefer to have that combination of classy and sexy.

Quoting 'elpuocyenroh' If your over a healthy BMI or your waist circumference is over the recommended don't kid yourself it's ok! having such a judgmental mind is the biggest fashion faux pas. Good thing that their are beautiful souls out there who wear their style on the inside.

I never used to wear dresses, except to weddings or funerals, I was always to self conscious. My knobbly knees, my hips, my muffin top and my too small boobs. Then I met a lover who has a fetish for dresses and he made me realise how sexy I could look and feel in a dress. Now I love my too short dresses, although I still have to wear high heels that have training wheels, lol.

Kath And Kim summed it up in their show. They way Kim dressed..far out lol I think a big turn off for me is when "mutton does try to dress as lamb" figuratively speaking. Less ass (crack) and more class.

Fabric, the feel of silk ,satin and velvet...textures that slide on my skin caressingly.....the downside to living in a sub tropical climate is not being able to indulge my love of velvet.....I love embroideries the added dimension ......sometimes when I wear velvet people can't resist touching me.....I like that ....then fashion becomes a victim to me...:-) :-) xxQ

When younger, always skirts below my knees, suits, jackets (well 80s was a good jacket stage) even loved the turtle necks....... Now, even though I'm bigger, I feel more comfortable with myself, go figure....... I love the short skirts, tight dresses and low tops..... Luckily my man is honest with me and tells me if it's not a good look....

So I hardly wore dresses if any, never short ones or short skirts....even to this day I dont wear them out in public as Im too self conscious, the pics in my public album, Ive never worn them out especially the black dress lol, I bought it especially for my bday as I was goin to use it as a top but ended up wearing something else (silk harem pants and a sexy tight top and I was the only one wearing pants out that night lol, everything was short and super tight) but I did wear those killer heels, now those Im not afraid to wear hahaha If it comes to dresses or skirts then they'll always be long, flowy & fitting but 90% of the time Im in tights, boots, singlets, wearing bracelets and a fish braid or Gym wear and trainers haha, comfortability and convenience is ME Mrs_AJ
