Movie in a Queen Bed Under The Stars in Perth

February 24 2019

Is is just me that thinks this sounds pretty awesome? The pics alongside the article look comfy as. I wondered how awesome this could be as an experience for a private meet n greet for us RHPers! In whatever state it happens to be in. Yes? No? Maybe? How could we vamp it up? Up to you guys, how much fun (thinking a lil of you Mischevious) could we have? Time for some pleasure, Peachy January 10th, 2019, 01:00AM Written by Belinda Cipriano Eastern Reporter LIFESTYLE THE team from outdoor cinema experience Mov’in Bed will be in Perth tomorrow scouting potential locations for their upcoming spring season. Run by the team at BBR Agency in Sydney, the concept – which started in 2015 – allows movie-goers the opportunity to enjoy their favourite flick from the comfort of a queen size bed. Chief executive Vincent Hernandez said he had received a lot of interest from around Australia about the possibility of touring the cinema. “Perth was an obvious choice,” he said. “Beautiful weather and a city that is booming with lots of young professionals, experience seekers and people who love outdoor activities.” Hernandez said while Australians loved the idea of open-air cinemas, a lot of movie-goers embraced the idea of not having to sit on the grass for two hours, but had the option to do so if this was their preference. “Open air cinemas are very popular in Australia and we have a lot everywhere but this is unique,” he said. “It’s a spectacular 150 beds set-up with bedside tables changing colours, it’s very comfy as you don’t get cold, you are chilling on a bed and when I speak with some customers, they often say ‘why hasn’t it been done before’. “Finally we are a ‘date night’ – what is better then to eat in bed watching a movie while cuddling your love one.” With prices ranging from $9 to $29 for a family of four on the grass area with a picnic blanket, Hernandez said it was important to keep prices affordable and offer people a choice of keeping it simple or going all out. “The beds are $36.90 per person (price is below a luxury indoor cinema experience) and you can be up to three in a bed for $93.90,” he said. “You can also bring your own picnic blanket and watch the movie from the grass area. “This is not just ‘going to the cinema’, it’s a fun night out. “It’s an experience where you enjoy a movie lying in a bed, with pillows and a blanket for when it gets chilly at night. “You can also dine in bed and get your food delivered straight to your bed for a romantic (or not ) dinner under the stars.”

I'd be taking my own bed linen. Matter of fact I'd be taking my own mattress. This may spoil any romance.

Would you take your own mattress to a hotel? I had the same thought to be honest but it’s really no different I wouldn’t think. Also no different to snuggling under a blanket on someone’s outdoor furniture.. I reckon it’d be pretty cool 😊

Sounds pretty idyllic and a perfect pre cursor before some more adult fun later (given its an event where all ages can attend so using it as a chance to fornicate in public would be frowned upon I’m sure)

I wasn't taking this thread too seriously lol. I got to 3 in a bed and thought what a laugh it would be for a RHP meet up... No children allowed. I'm going out on a limb here guessing that none of you have fucked under a blanket in a roomful of people without them knowing. To ramp up the imaginary experience, I'm all for naked servers (no harassment allowed of course) bringing us our champagne and foie gras in bed. Peachy, prices all inclusive

Sounds "Peachy" Back in the Kalgoorlie days, we used to load up the utes with swags and shit, and go out bush..ESPECIALLY if there was an Electrical Storm brewing.. I can tell you, I am yet to experience a display of awesomeness as seen in an Electrical Storm over the desert out there.. But.. apart from the Storms.. 4 or 5 utes with friendly couples all backed in together with a barbie happening, and some great Australian Fauna creating an enhanced and surreal ambience.. There WERE some .. "Experiences" out there The poem "Desiderata" tells us to "Take kindly the council of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth" BUT.. BUT... There ARE things of my youth, which, whilst I neither regret nor feel shameful of, do in fact wish they were as readily available today as they were yesterday

Shouldn't be a problem if all mattresses had a waterproof protector on them from the get go. I've got a few ideas to camp it up. Hire a massive glamping tent with a solid wall that can fit about 10 - 15 double mattresses and use a projector to play porn on the solid wall 😉

"I've got a few ideas to camp it up." That was meant to say glamp it up lol. Hate auto correct sometimes as it's not very correct at all.
