Surely she is the man's mistress because she actually LIKES him and enjoys being with him. I know it is a tradition for men to buy thier little dirty girls gifts but fair dinkum.......in this day and age, she should consider the implications of his broken marriage and then if she still thinks it is worthwhile being with the man then just go for it. Why on earth would she want to cheapen herself and her affair by asking for things? Does that not make her a prostitute? If that is the case, she should just become a working girl, sell it more often and make more money. Then she can buy the hell what she likes.

You don't become a girl on the side because you're looking for the same things a relationship provides, surely the whole point is that it's mutually beneficial, as the woman you get to indulge yourself in a purely sexual relationship which satisfies your libido and allows you to stop getting side tracked by sexual frustration without constantly dragging home random guys.I had a girl who was my "bit on the side" who would get so side tracked with her sexual desires that she couldn't get anything done, I would go around and "fix" her when she needed it (her words), this allowed her to concentrate on her work and remain relaxed when meeting people, which enabled her to find a long term partner ironically!.

Well fuck me, nameinuse aren't you just a charmer. So where can I get my next fix ?? I would think that most women would not choose to be a mistress because actually, I doubt you would get enough sex to satisfy. Besides to me a mistress implies a kept woman who is supposed to be faithful between fixes. Lol

You become a mistress because you dont want the man to hassle you all the time. You have no desire to have a live in lover/partner and a married man will not ask for more than what you give. You just pkay with him a while and someone else can clean his socks and put up with his snoring, farting and scrathing. He also has no rights to tell you to be faithful. A bit hypocritical if he does as surely he is at home fucking his wife.

To me a man would provide some financial support for his mistress, if he doesn't then I wouldnt classify the relationship in such terms. It would be more as lovers, fb, fwb or whatever and then yes there wouldn't be the expectation of fidelity. Or am I taking a very old fashioned meaning of the term mistress?

Maybe a combined relationship. She's a kept woman and uses the whip when he comes round for his fix. Best of both worlds really and no confusion about the term mistress... Ok getting serious for a moment, I would think the man would provide some form of financial support (place to stay/pay the rent) but the mistress needs to be available to give the man his fix when he asks for it. As for being available to play with other guys I think in this day and age can be optional, just the mistress needs to be available when called (which could be at an inconvient moment if she is seeing someone else).
