Hay got to tell myself that no other b@st@ed dose LOL Oh and I know that the solar panel on the top is getting thinner every month and a few more grey ones are showing buthay I can live with that. When I look at some men my age I reckon I do look pretty good at least I'm not carrying around the keg yeh sure the six pack has grown into a dozen but for 46 I reckon I'm doing ok As the old saying goes I love me who do you love ehheheh

HDS lol is this a males only syndrome? I think I have met my fair share of fourty something women with the same affliction... Recent scientific studies have found that HDS is directly attributable to long term singledom, causing a lowering of standards in our household chores..... ie. we look at ourselves in a not so clean bathroom mirror & believe we look hot! Maybe once this thread has run for a few days, any one that posts claiming to be HOT & not suffering from HDS shall be challenged to post a pic set of themselves in the hot or not Album????

For us it's a person's attitude and not years that count! So long as they take pride in themselves and like to have fun...what does it matter? We have a ball park age figure we look for, but that's not set in stone! Besides ...what exactly is middle age? No one will ever really know when they hit middle age cos a person who may live to 80 will be in middle age at 40...but a person who may unfortunately only be destined to live to 40 will hit their middle age at 20 (but just won't know it)

Being one myself of course.. hehe OK your mid age bloke doesnt have the youthful good looks n hard body or energy of your 25 year old But he is more likely to be financially secure, know himself, and be mor relaxed and attentive to a woman and know how to treat one. More liekly to listen and empathise, and know his way round a womans body and at least have a slight inkling of how their mind works (Ok we NEVER really understand that). Maybe a lot of women find mature mans mind and skillful toucch jsut as hot as a younger guys physical attributes. After reading some of the comments & oppinions in this forum, I feel like I'm stepping out of my wheelchair & putting one foot in my grave. I turn 53 this month & all this time I thought I looked pretty good for my age. My wife of 31 yrs of marraige has been telling me that, I still look pretty good for my age in terms of looks & physique. So am I to assume that she has been LYING to me all these years???? but then again I suppose she would be a bit bias. I might not have the stacked six pack that some of the younger guys on here posess, but then again I don't spend any time at the gym as I would suspect they do. I've just tried to look after myself over the years to stay fit & healthy & I thought I was doing a pretty good job at it. But then again that's something others will have to decide for themselves, at least I know I've been honest in regards to my age & build in our profile & not dishonest & I hope I don't sound egotisticlein in saying that I think that the females of the coulpes we have had the pleasure in meeting in our encounters since we joined this site, have been pleasently surprised when we meet up. Please feel free to give me your opinions & thoughts on what you think I would sincerely appreciate any feedback whether it's positive or negative. Thanks C D.

So what is it you Girls are trying to say about middle aged men, the popular opinion of people who care to comment when prompted say age is just a number....if the person Male or Female takes pride in there appearance put some time into keeping fit mentally and physically, who may or may not have hair on their head you can keep it together.....There are plenty of examples on this site weather they are males here as Single or Couples they are easily found just check out the pics assuming they are currant.

I'm yet to push the 40's bar yet, but i've gotten pretty close and have so far found that age = experience and knowledge. Not just sexually, but in all aspects of life. Older man are more mature, confident and comfortable with who they are, and generally have a better understanding of what a woman enjoys and wants. I have seen some silver foxes out there who look damn good for their age! If they take care of themselves physically, men can age very well, better than women i would say... Dida xx

Lou is right in a way - it requires attitude for a woman to be hot... at the same time I have to point out a psychological reason why men in their 40s feel more atractive. They have finally got rid of the baggage of "having to" be attractive by appearance - see my previous sentence again. Having no need to attract females by the superficial features like muscles, six-packs and romantic dinners they can finally go straight to the point which is a good dirty root at the back of their beatup van - now they canfinally pick up women in their 40s who are grateful to come second if lucky.LOLAnyway, seriously I think it is true, men in their mid-life crisis come to find their sexy attitude that many have lost through their previously so stressful age of raising the family and "looking after" their precious lady who in the end only provided sex as an occasional sign of gratitude for all the hard work in other areas. Men are more relaxed about their appearance and know that what counts is how they can make their woman satisfied in bed, they finally mastered oral sex and realised that foreplay is more than some unknown part of the game in European football. Sex is great at this age and when the engine is firing on all pistons who cares about the bit of cracking paint on the bonnet :-)
