Althugh you did the right thing in any normal circumstances, being polite by just sending the message back letting him know where he is standing etc etc.. It seems this guy here, just don't quite understand the human social interaction. My guess is that he been for quite some time, sending out flirts/msg's, and very few he got a reply, and those few, are polite "rejections". over the course of the few months, this builds up in him, unknowingly how to deal with it,. causes him to lead towards to conclusion that the female population have the 'problem', not him. The real problem is the fact that guys expects too much. They expected to hear "yes" they expected to see "lets have fun". They expected to be easy. of course, over the last 2000 years, the "got used" to the male domination world, despite the sudden miracle changes from the age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius, where females beginning to have more and more rights to place themselves equal as man, in all level of society, some, if not most, guys still think of male domination. As they say, some embrace change, some are stubborn. But putting aside this, this mere male, sounded a bit self centered. And he just doesn't quite get it that it takes two to tango, not one. To the guys: if you want something, you have to take a huge giant leap of risk, and work hard for it. To prove your worth, if she is worthy enough for you. Do you not see movies, read novel, where alot of romance involved this way? A knight goes on a quest to prove his loyal and undying love for his princess. To the women: Remember, the world underwent massive changes so suddenly, we still have to get used to the idea. The guys are trying to find alternative ways to "woo" the ladies without insulting them, without pushing them, without making you feel "cheep" and still maintain the fun of courtship. conclusion: Keep doing what you do. If you receive messages of various degree like that, ignore them. But if you receive messages of "thank you for you time, im grateful, have fun in this site!" then you know he is a good person, and you would recommended him to any one. Sparty

some think that they might say some thing to change your mine but other just may have to be hit over the head but please donot use you pc for that it migth brake it and you will not beable to chat and meet try a 2 by 4 or a baseball bat or some thing like that lol

We've had that happen... We asked at least once, why?, and were told (with an apology) they didn't realise they could 'read' the flirt response... and thought that our reply meant we were interested :-) We simply assume it is that sort of thing now and reply to their message explaining that lol. Works for us ;-) We have wondered if there are some who think to themselves that they'll give sending a message a go considering they did, at least, get a reply to their flirt. :-PP :-D

If its not coming from thier own mind then i see little point, why read something generic, can see that list of options by looking at the list myself ;). I pay the top dollar so that guests can message me, very few take the option though one or two do send a "generic" flirt. Thats not my problem its theirs, if they can't take the time to figure out how the site works it certainly isn't my problem lol. I send a "generic" one message and if they can't answer sensibly to that then goodbye. I'll continue to pay the top dollar because i still believe its the best option to maybe meet people with a brain in their head. On occasion it has been worth while :). Other than that i look for like minded people in the forums. Hard to lie hear over more than one or two posts, fools trip themselves up ;) Have met a very nice lass from here in the forums, i saw two posts and said to myself i just have to meet her. I have and she is delicious ;)

We get that, or we reply to a message saying no, then get another reply saying "but I'll be the best" or "wow, such a shame, we could have so much fun together."... But it's all a bit hard to have fun together when it's just going to be you. Just flick them and block them, or do what we do when it gets beyond a joke and send a very rude and abrupt message back, explaining why we aren't interested and that maybe they should get the hint. there's only so much you can do. Just glad we've only had to do that once or twice, many guys are very gracious in defeat, and we often get thanked for at least replying. -The quick fix to all your RHP problems =)

Oh this happens to me all the time, but usually with messages. I say no to a single 20 something, after all i'm usually old enough to be his mum and i get constant messages back saying how much he loves older women!!!!!!!!! Needless to say i have blocked over 100 guys which seems insane that i have to do that. How desperate can they be??

Peachypear, had the same thing, they send a flirt, you reply...low and behold a message saying 'Thank you for the flirt'... but, but, but, i was replying to yours....AAAArrrrrrggggghhhhhh. Woodyperth, I can understand why you don't respond to flirts. ;o) Thank you guys. PS: heretofuck, a lump of 2 by 4 hehe. I am not a violent person at all, but sometimes.......

I can understand it happening with messages but not flirts. If someone responds negative to a flirt then it is strange that they would follow up by sending a message. However if someone responds to a message with just a sorry not interested. I will respond by asking why so I know. I mean I have messaged women that are looking for my age, have similar interests and from my point of view look to be a good match then to have a reply of 'sorry you aren't what I'm looking for' sort of makes me recheck the profile trying to find what I'm missing. Then if I still can't find something I overlooked I will ask why. I think that is fair enough. Some cases are that they haven't been specific with their profile like having that they are looking for men then coming back and saying they aren't looking for anyone as they have someone, or don't want anyone. Well heads up, put that on your profile would help. Or the ones that aren't after guys but still have it in their looking for. That's just stupid. Ok, I've rambled a bit. If someone messages that received a negative flirt they didn't get the message or cannot understand that they were rejected. As mentioned if they aren't nice feel free to block them. If they are then maybe it would be worth revisiting their profile. So many get passed over when they really shouldn't. Responses to messages either initial or responses to responses I believe you should give more leeway to and let the other person know the reasons.

Funny there is a warning stating 'Please do not post anything that defames or vilifies', yet Hagar seems to live up to his name and his post gets through. Just wondering, if it's me or someone else you are calling boy wonder. I'll have to take it as a compliment if its me, as if I look that young to you I have to think that is a good thing. I like to think I have a decent body for a mid thirty year old. Oh and before Mr Horrible decides to be smart arse and comment that the pic is probably 10 years old, it was taken in January this year. But hey, I'm not the one afraid to put my face on a profile. It is comments from guys like you Hagar that make it harder for all the decent guys on here to make any headway.
