There have been men with dyed white hair that I could appreciate. . Think Spike from Buffy the vampire slayer. (But only under the age of 25).

Are you referring to men dying their hair because they are going grey? Or younger guys experimenting with crazy colours? A guy at work has long hair to his back and he's short and scrawny...he csme to work with green dyed hair...he looks like them troll dolls that were out in the late 80's early 90's. Another guy from work who had brown hair did it jet black...but it suits him. Could it depend on hairstyle and physique? - Posted from rhpmobile

is it a bad thing if men dye their hair? women do it all the time (or does dying mean a different thing altogether?) although I'm with Mes regarding the bald patch, I say just let it be or go full on bald, lol

Double standards! - Posted from rhpmobile

  • RHP

IMHO, quite simply because it never looks good. There are double standards everywhere between the sexes eg men are generally expected to NOT shave their armpits whereas women are expected to shave theirs. Men messing with their hair - perms, colours, comb overs, toupees, hair plugs, all that jazz, just always looks awful. Universally awful.

All in all, I agree. Only because I find a a graying gent very sexy. I think the double standard exists because you have to be a very special kind of lady to successfully pull of grey / silver hair, but men just seem to naturally look better with it. That said - long hair on a guy any day.. Mmm

I so find distinguishing grey hair sexy but have also discovered a like for bald which I never had before. Recently both of my brothers at different times had light tips done I was shocked and a bit oppinionated at first and then when they told we why or how it happened I thought you know what why not. They looked ok and they felt good about themselves which was great.

Hair dyeing is like most things for men... Keep it natural, way more attractive. Same goes for body hair, makeup, etc. for men. I'd say most women prefer a man to be a man. Masculine. Natural. Sure, keep things tidy and clean. But be yourself. It's different for women, however less is always more there too. I'd say 9 out of 10 guys like girls who look more natural. Sure, a good hair dye job and waxing are fine. But less makeup, natural looking breasts, etc. are far more likely to attract a keeper.

If it makes you feel good then dye your hair. There are no hair police. Women do it so can men Go for it!

Go ahead and colour it if it makes you feel good! Just like for women, a bit of colour can change a person's look entirely - for better or worse. I've seen some great dye jobs on men. Jess xx

That is all.And Why not? pity we arent back in the ole caveman days eh!!! where every one knew where they stood.......or shat......lol.....So, perhaps yr take may have been,, i like my men to be natural no matter how they feel about themselves........ and guys dont look back in history where men would do this very thing in some cultures, and also in other cultures, they did other things that some women (and men) of today thing abhorrent........ hhhmmn, let me think what they might be... younger male lovers and women for child bearing and house keeping......the past has a very interesting way in relating to the present and our future methinks........mis tao Quoting 'luvsilver' Or should that be endith? It depends, just as it does with women, some men can carry it of and look awesome while others just look shit. To say as a blanket statement, "men don't do it" is a bit harsh and judgemental but is your opinion so thats fine but there are others among us who don't mind a guy with died hair. Me being one of them :) Each to their own.
