I'm a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist myself and I have to say, it's a big grey area. | Unfortunate as it is, we were advised during our course to avoid advertising altogether in newspapers or any other media where our services may be misconstrued as something they were not. Which is a bloody big shame because you are potentially excluding yourself from a massive market! | I'd err on the side of caution if it were me ... it gets kinda boring after a while explaining your massages are remedial and not sexual LOL. | All the best with your course, I loved mine and it's well worth doing!

Given that the guys on this site are a cross section of the general community, there will be the blokes you could trust with your life and will absolutely respect that its a legit massage with as you put it "no happy ending", there will be the guys who will want to try it on and attempt to cajole you one way or another into getting their dicks massaged as well. Then there will be the guys who reckon that because you are on this site, you are fair game and must be up for anything and are likely to get upset when denied.Given that so many seem inclined not to read profiles, they may take no heed of any limits you advertise either and just assume they are getting the works and again get upset when denied what they assumed they were going to receive. All in all i would be a concerned about your safety if your operating on your own, while the majority of fellas will be ok, it only takes one arsehole to beat you up or worse.I don't know how effectively you could vet clients either. If you were going to do it, I think it would be wise to have a bouncer working for you, regardless of where your clientelle is coming from.Cheers Nev

Firstly, the woman who claims more power than you is what's known in business as competition. Your competetor is always going to claim better services, experience e.t.c. It's not going to go away so try not to take it personally. With the attractive picture in your profile, I feel this will attract a fair amount of 'Hopefuls' of more than massage. This is probably not your intention but will lead to a certain amount of this type of result. You may have to stipulate you business parameters clearly in regard to this (in the fine print if you like) Finally, Good Luck in your business venture, do lead with an agressive advertising campaign to get the ball rolling, settle into a preferred client base eventually and provide the best service which I'm sure you will. Build your differing clientel in different places .. I believe it can be done ... It's a bit like a profile on RSVP nice sincere and the same person on the Pie naughty experimental ... Becareful not to muddy the waters ... But you are potentially missing out on huge sums of cash if you don't wanna go down that rd. I used to massage sporty ppl yrs ago and often thought of doing it on the side again it's a great game in a business sense however there are thousands of them inthe white pages .. Good luck it has merit :-) let us know how you get on! Cheers

Guys, all I am asking here is for honesty!! Would it be a bad idea for my business to give massages to males from these sites? Do you think I would be safe if I did not give them a Happy Ending when finishing the massage and be able to leave without any harm? Or should I just stay away from any guys from here? Females I have no problems with..as they always just want the massage and nothing else....But men....hmmm I'm not so sure! < I have struggled with this for over a year now and thought I would try and get some sound advice from the Contributors on here! A year ? What's to think about? Sure... you will very shortly see a thousand (my bet is 23) responses from guys saying "I respect women and would love a massage from you funloving and would not expect anything more from you." or variations thereof - possibly with spelling and grammar errors, but I think we all know the reality: . While there are some genuinely nice people on this site, I think you'd be setting yourself up... would you escape without 'harm'... you know unfortunately I wouldn't even think that would be certain. . "I'm getting a massage from a chick from a sex site" is what their brain is going to say. You decide whether that's the sort of thought pattern you want laying on your massage table.

Don't use RHP as a way of advertising your business. People handle rejection bad enough, but throw money into the equation, bad bad bad.

It would seem a great idea, However the average male on these sites seems to think with there little head only!I was recently involved with a woman that did do massage with happy endings. The greatest request she got on a daily basis was for more extras!!!Do your self a favour and stick with what you are doing at the moment.

You all seem to have misunderstood what I was saying, and to be honest I can't find the bit where I presumably said that I was going to advertise on here or any other site. < These are guys I ALREADY chat to. You know how it goes "what do you do for a living" blah blah blah! I am just worried that because I initially met them off these Sites that they would expect the happy ending. I know that some guys muck around about the massage, but some SEEM genuine about receiving one and I am just not sure. I do let them all know that it has no Happy Ending AT ALL and some seem ok with that....but as I initially said....I am worried about where I first met them! < Come on people I am not a 20yo bimbo...blonde, yeah (bottled) but the chemicals haven't seeped that far in my brains yet!! Give me more credit than that. < xFunlovingx

The motivation for the majority of guys here is pretty clear, so although you sound very nice, are a professional and your business is relatively innocuous, I severely doubt the ability for many guys to see it that way. some, too, will be pigheaded enough to even read your intro to the thread and think "i reckon I could convince her"...they're the ones you have to watch out for (and they're everywhere here!) - boring_name is right - bad bad bad if, however, you were still toying with the idea, perhaps you could enlist the help of a trusted male chaperone (is that how you spell it?)... I don't know...kinda seems like that would put a rather rough face on the business and could potentially put legitimate clients off. Just take care of yourself whatever you do... Regards, SF

Ok... but say my thighs are really really tight and you need to do those chop chop moves... right up the top there.. and all that attention girds my loins, so to speak.... well.. you can picture it.. it's all out there.. now I'm not expecting you to provide a happy ending cause I accept its not part of the deal... but all I'm really asking is... do you supply tissues or towels or... well.. I can't just stand up and walk out like that... so ... errr.. oh.. and a nother question... do you like to watch? My advise is.. avoid finding clients in your pleasure playground... and besides... I have doubts RHP will put up with it without a kickback of some kind... it's their marketplace not yours.HugsStalky

I will make this clear! < NOWHERE IN MY POST DOES IT SAY THAT I AM LOOKING FOR CLIENTS FROM RHP OR ANY OTHER SITE!!!!! < You know when you start talking to someone and they ask what you do for a living/studies? Well, that is what I am talking about...guys that are on MSN already! These are the guys I am asking about! NOT guys that send me messages on here or guys that message me asking for massages...that is not what I am getting to at all! < Is that clearer? I hope so! xFunlovingx

I hope so! xFunlovingx I may not have been in my reply. I meant that meeting men on sites like RHP, and explaining you're a massage therapist, and then them wanting one, is a bad place to go. Will you be working from a clinic? Or your own premises? If working from a clinic that's a bit better because then you can direct them there (or to a website). If yours will be a house call business then I'd say a definite no to anyone from on here that you've just chatted too and not actually met.If you want to go the happy ending route, work from a parlour as it's also safer. If they're guys you've actually met in the flesh before then I don't see a problem with it, or if they're guys you've chatted to a fair bit, as long as you explain, and are adamant, about exactly what service you provide.

One of my ex girlfriends, her sister was a masseur, did i spell it right????? Well is really pretty and she soooo many blokes and a couple a women ask her if there was a, shall we say, fringe benefit if they threw her some extra cash, and she was like NAHHHH fuck that, this is my job what the fuck you know..... Anyways, you should have people from here as clients, the more the merrier yeah, but just choose wisely from here sweetie ok..... PLAYFULGUY.....

I get quite a few guys that want me until they realise that I am a professional and require payment. Make it perfectly clear that there will be no "happy ending" and your services are professional only. Yes you do get the odd one that thinks he is getting a freebie and you do need to be careful. Trust your instincts and if someone seems odd they probably are. I have found that the more you chat and get to know someone, the less they see it as a business transaction. Be friendly but if you are only prepared to do massage make sure they get the message loud and clear. Good luck with it.

My apologies, I misunderstood what you were saying. And now, what you were attempting to say makes more sense. | However, being a lover of massages, and finding out recently that one of my RHP friends gives them, well ya see, now that just changes everything ... so I suppose my initial thought remains ... bad idea from a professional point of view!

It's well stated in these forums and in the chat rooms that men don't read profiles so you need to be careful with your advertising. However, I would think that a clever jingle or slogan would do the trick. I'm not thinking totally straight at the moment (bit late at night) but how does the following sound:- "My massages will make you think you are in Heaven so no other happy endings".

Speaking for myself, if I received a massage from a woman as beautiful and sexy as you and not get a happy ending I would be frustrated as hell, just being honest. However I wouldn't be aggressive or upset as it's not in my nature. Can't speak for others but knowing how most guys think it could be a risk.
