Makeup might be okay to look at (unless you end up looking like a clown prostitute), but I've always hated kissing women with makeup on.

I love a little make-up to enhance my features and make my skin glow. I can imagine there are things guys would find more fun to get in their mouths than gloopy lip gloss and foundation though. And waterproof mascara in bed is a must, I learnt that the hard way. Raccoon eyes are not the best look!

Makeup is used to accentuate, not dominatePancake thick foundation is pretty bad, I don't want to take half of it away when I go in for a kiss

Look like alice cooper in the morning I do my eyes Like Tammy Faye Baker my lips like jagar with lippy stage makeup works a treat to fill the lines, like spack filler Red cheeks like a clown with those big feet to match. I like enough to leave a full face print on your pillow when a guy give me a doggie.

I think people still have the misconception that 'a lot of makeup' implies drag queen-style orange face, raccoon smoky eyes, pouty red gloss lips and pink cheeks, but there really are ways to have makeup on and have it look perfectly natural, accentuating natural features as opposed to looking like you planted yourself face-first into an artist's pallet. It's a matter of finding the right shades to match your skin tone. A person who has heavy smoky eyes and cherry red lips may actually have LESS make up on than someone who has the 'flawless complexion' look.

I used to have a girlfriend who was never seen without her makeup on! And we are talking the whole works - eyeshadow (heaps of it), foundation (heaps of that too) etc etc. When she met her future hubbie she would get up before him and put the makeup on! It was ridiculous! She would even dress up to the nines just to do the shopping. I wonder sometimes how she is going with two kids now. Pusscat xxx

a natural looking face with as little make up as possible.. I know a girl who insists on wearing heaps and to be honest' its a turn off for me... I cant say anything because I feel I would expose a underlying insecurity. Mind you ' I seen her without and she looks just fine, but in her mind' Im sure she feels lost without it.. Shame really..

Keep it simple stupid is a work saying that works here I reckon along with "if you can't hide it make a feature of it " !Not a fan of the bogged and painted look , while natural can be a bit bland, just some subtle highlights works for me.

ever wear makeup. Maybe once every two years I will lash out. For me it is like guilding the lily! Quite frankly I dont need it and my skin is better off without it.

I am an absolute sucker for blondes with smokey eyes. They're a sure-fire weapon that will turn me into a quivering wreck. There was a hilarious jpeg that did the internet rounds a while ago that had comparisons "what guys think no makeup is" and "what no makeup actually is". I wish I could find it, it was quite illuminating.Turns out when guys say "we prefer the natural look" we really mean "we want you to wear makeup but not have it look like you're wearing makeup." Less is definitely more, but it's not nothing. Just so long as we can't tell how much effort went into it (which is probably harder than it sounds.)Our patriarchal God bless the sexist double standards that enables guys to put in very little effort in the facial department!

One thing that really turns me off, is seeing a lady with makeup caked on.Something inside me just screams, "she's got something to hide" mostly it'd just be insecurity but too much just makes me think she's fake.I love a women who is comfortable about who she is and does not need to layer her face with chemicals to try and impress anyone. But that's just me, each to his or her own I suppose.

Foundation, blush, mascara and an illuminating powder on - oh and lipgloss/lipstick. Yet I don't feel I look "made up" - when I go out, the eyes are dark and smokey with about 6 layers of mascara on. Might even chuck in red lips.

Well, interesting topic. I think to get a real idea I would have to judge on individual cases. One thing to point out though, there's probably a lot of guys that have no idea how much make up has been put on. Or whether they just see what they think as an attractive woman, and no make up at all. I think I can speak for most guys in that we can rule out the oompa loompa style make-up fake tans... that is fairly obvious to notice for even the dimmest of blokes.Like I said above, from my perspective Id have to judge if its too much for the given individual. I know .. no one likes a fence sitter. Oh well

Wonderful mental picture just went through my head MrsP - My preference is for less make up but that imprint of tuscan's face on my pillow is a tempting thought.

Def like less makeup rather than more. Plus when she removes her makeup, she still looks like the same woman. Some women wear so much, they look totally like someone else when they take it off lol. Yeh, subtle I guess is the operative word for me, tho it can change from woman to woman at times.
