Know the feeling, my kids are with their mum till I can pick them up and go and see the family, sitting around just waiting, on the bright side I did put a new gearbox in the mower this morning.

Don't worry, you're not alone. The cat and I are cleaning. Well, I'm cleaning (God I hate dusting) and she is coming alone rubbing on everything putting her damn hairs on everything again. I bought her some turkey cat food, yes I am a sap and we are going to watch a movie later... I"m choosing that one, cause she'd just watch Shrek again... and again... (she's got a thing for Puss in Boots I think, must be the Antonio accent)Anyhoo, whatever you choose to do today, I hope you enjoy your "me" time, as a mum that's a valuable thing.Best wishes,Viking

I too am spending most of the day by myself. Thankfully I get my girls back this afternoon but I have realised there is not much worse than waking up alone on Xmas Day. Then the constant text messages wishing me and my family a merry Xmas. Just wanna tell them that my family isn't with me so F*#k Off and thanks for the constant reminder that I have just spent my first Xmas morning alone in 10yrs. Enough of my ramblings though. I hope your day gets better xx

Loneliness really does suck. And what am I doing? I'm here on RHP where I really don't belong anymore ... But, here I am, going through some funny messages received, complete with incompatible personalities and cock shots I can't see anymore with Guest Membership and if I squint heaps (to block out the mess of new Christmas presents around me), it could almost be any other normal day in paradise! . Alas, Christmas Day is one day on the calendar and I hope it improves for you watermaiden76 because to be lonely on Christmas Day is not good. . If things get really tough though, sing out and I'll gladly lend you my two for a day or so . If your Christmas isn't Merry, I at least hope it is Happy! . Flirty x

I hope by the time you both read this post, your Xmas has improved some what. Loneliness sux..so been there and done that...but Im sure that your Xmases will improve...xxx Well Ive been fortunate this year, very fortunate. A kind g/f invited me over today to share with her family, a gorgeous Xmas lunch which was full of love and laughter. I have no family in Australia (Im American) no kids, and this year, no partner..and Im also Jewish !!! so I was kinda "avoiding"this week......yet the kindness of one person, made a big difference to a day that I was dreading..isnt that what Xmas is really suppose to be about ?? Rite now Im working a 12 hour shift (nite shift) tonite, so a member of my staff can go and enjoy being with his loved ones..Im cool with this..in fact after a whole day of 3 little mites under the age of 5., hyped up on a diet of pure sugar....(why eat the seafood that was on offer ??) ...yep looking forward to a quiet shift.. And please pray for a quiet nite in Perth - if Im busy, then that means that there will be many a sad person, checking in with me later tonite..and if your a local Perth person , you will know just in the past week, we've had some tragic deaths on our roads and the loss of young ones to murder, suicides..etc So to all wherever you are or wherever you are going...please please take care, I do not want to see your relatives on my shift tonite...my wish for tonite, is that Im bored beyond belief and every nite shift I pull after ....because if Im bored with nothing to really do, that means your loved ones are safe and well xxx Merry Xmas and a SAFE and joyous New Year

Hells bells, I've wallowed gratuitously in the utter decadence of having the whole house to myself... I haven't put clothes on, I've yet to leave my room, I've had as much to drink as I damn well please, and all without my son or his girlfriend or anyone else to worry about. ME TIME!!!!! A luxury all the more treasured for its rarity ;) bugger being lonely, I'm too busy enjoying my very rare moment of freedom! :D

Thanks for all your kind comments. I poured my first wine at 8.30 yesterday morning and drank it all day (gulp) and went to bed at 10pm pretty much sober! Got up at around midnight and had a smoke only to hear the neighbours shagging their brains out. Gah! What's on in Sydney today, anybody know? I need something to do!

We woke up 2 just us here, no kids, no family it felt strange but i agree with trips the xmas morning sex was gr8 ;) but still missed the noise and the family. Well after a 2+ hour drive we got all that n more. then a 5+ drive hime thru rain, hail n floods we got home 2 just us again n more sex. not a bad xmas ;) Hope all had a gr8 day n next time maybe we need 2 organise a xmas lunch for all those that are alone and have an awesome day together.
