The_last_76 I have to admit to being a slack reader of books..I have bought books when travelling sitting around a pool etc..But these days no, when i am chilling at home it is either music or the tele on.. The Dictionary is close by though..I am serious i do have one close to check myself with spelling or meanings..Oh and it was always John Grisham books.

I love to read I read for at least an hour every day. A good book is one that I do an allnighter on. Then go to work. I will read just about anything. One day I'll start to read my collection of antique classics. At the moment i'm reading John Birmingham. Like reading sci fantasy and historic fiction. I guess that's why I am not reading my classics as some of them are tough reads. Fab.

I read the Diaries of Adrian Mole aged 13 and a half, long time ago, and i have most things footrot flats....Wal is my hero da big lug!....lol Bringing back memories now, thanks Gals! Most profound thing i ever read was 1984.....and man Big brother is getting closer and closer. (Isnt that why that bloody Rudd is putting in the national fibre rollout....so he can have a spy camera in every house, not to mention the internet censorship. $20 smokes, $20 hamburgers.....revolt now.....start a revolution...lol......flee run hide!Hardest and definately most baffling useless book would be catch 22.Most Erotic book i have read actually i think it is the only one i ever read, "I a Prostitute..Nina Holmes" when i was a boy. The book...not the disorder...lol Ok Nev. you flushed me outta the closet...books were a definate source of tasting a life outside of my suburban existance. Famous Five during my childhood...All creatures great and small...during my teens...plus assorted horror comics and of course, Footrot Flats, which I continued to buy well into my so called 'adulthood'. Too many books to name, suffice to say, eclectic journey's were at the core of each story, real or imagined. I tried my hand at writing too...can you believe someone actually published my dirty stories??! Got paid to be a rampant woman..how good is that??! Of course, that was before my brain went on the fritz! Now its only forum...and I dont read half of what I or anyone else has to say....maybe I shouldn't have said that...oh well..no1 will read it anyway....lol

Dilbert and the Way of the Weasel. A re-read, but a piss-funny one. You have to be able to laugh before you can make someone orgasm... so I like to make myself laugh. JG :-)

I can't blame Forum for frying my brain...that happened long before I stumbled upon..or in...the ooze pond. Tho thanks for noticing....lol Not sure whether my stories...all based upon actual experiences, could be considered perverse....tho, upon reflection...could very well be. Two 30 year old university students pushing their minds and bodies to the limits..a cross b'tween the sex in the city and underbelly....tho not literally...of course ;-)

I just read Tim Winton, Breath, and I didn't realise when I set out to read it that it had a really kinky theme/undertone to it. I was kinda surprised for Tim Winton, but was also pleased, being the kinky thing that I am lol!

Hmmm, if my favourite book of all time happened to be Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, where does that apply in your conclusion? Love the wit and wisdom of this woman who lived a sheltered life, it is timeless and adaptable! Also have a collection of mystery and suspense/thriller novels, which I read tirelessly. xxILTS

Beginning to read 'House of Leaves'. Only a few chapters in and it's already pretty clearly some very trippy stuff. If you enjoy a healthy mind-fuck from time to time, I'd recommend this book.

Yep, I am a voracious reader, go thru patches where I will read a read about 3 books a week for a couple of months, then lose interest, not read for a few months, then start the cycle again. Probably have about 300 books and they are the ones I want to keep - ah second ahnd books stores love me lolTend to read a bit of sci-fi but never got into fantasy, well unless you count Diskworld fantasy (funniest books EVER). Lately been reading a lot of Dan Brown clones, you know the type, finding some long lost treasure. Surprisingly, with my background I don't read many military books, I have tried and got so frustrated at the lack of accuracy of the weapons, aircraft etc portrayed in the books. My dream is to have enough money to retire and write my own novel, started several times but it is one time consuming task - and time isn't something I have in abundance at the moment. Ah one day I will though .....
