  Well, if I'd have a choice between on, off or some dimmed lighting... I would choose some sort of dimmed lights, but if it's just between on or off then I'd say TURN ALL THE LIGHTS ON!!!!

  Nice ambient lighting can really set the mood. I have always wanted to be surprised by being led into a room with LOTS of candles.

  Love candles too Saskia....until my Burmese showed way to much interest in smelling them when lit.Needless to say, pussy on fire running around the house is not a good look.These days I stick to Salt Crystal lamps and the daggy old lava lamp

  Ruby...what a woman !!i think you can get oils or something for that ......was she a white cat before the candle incident ???i love the candles...................(altho the ambient light of the street is bright enough !!)but like the painted pony.....i prefer a blindfold...then peek can be a free spirit...cause no one can see her ..hehehe

  Middle of the night in the country is pretty damn dark. I can go by feel. Daylight I have no problems baring it all either be it inside or outside.

  a couple of candles, at midpoint in the room either side, so you can see each other... its nice to see the reaction from your partner... if you're not going to see your partner's reaction - you may as well have sex with a stranger in a dark alley.   plus a soft stir of breeze through the room... just enough to cool you off once hot and sweaty   :) enjoy...

  Oh MissB, the burmese never actually caught on fire...came very close,she is a smokey grey though...lolI do like the blindfolds tooespecially on a bright sunny day.

  Although I do feel for the burmese, it's preferable than the other pussy being set alight.   Yes I adore candles too, and also have a lava and salt lamp. The salt lamp is pretty amazing, really does work on the lungs/respiratory system, my young daughter had a nagging cough for a few months that nothing was helping with, the lamp next to her bed for two hours at bedtime had the cough gone inside of a week. Bloody amazing.

  its to do with the negative ions they emit.I have 3 going in my home, the air feels stuffy without them now.AlwaysOnce.....hope you have never really hurt yourself!Seems like Lights On - Candles are the way to go !

  When I was younger I loved to do it in broad daylight....loved to show off my body! Nowadays I love candles in a dimly lit room....just one or two candles on the other side of the bed....not enough candles like they have a Satanic meeting when they get a virgin male to give as an offering! xFunlovingx
