Lights on, lights off

I’m sure this topic has been done before but I realised something the other day which was of interest to me. I am a very visual person and definitely a lights on kinda guy. I would say in the past I would have felt less aroused if it were too dark and I couldn’t see my partner writhing away. So what hit me the other day is that we are having sex more in the dark these days and I’m loving it. I know it’s come about because Mrs S is more than a little self conscious post producing 2 of the most wonderful humans, which just makes me find her more attractive but she relaxes more and really releases into the moment under the cover of darkness. What I realised is that other than this complete release being oh so sexy, the removal of my dominant sense has heightened the other senses. Touch, sound, smell and taste come to the fore, even the unexpected (as it can’t be seen) placement of her dainty hand back on my chest as she grinds down on me from above can be so delicious. The only drawback is we don’t get too axe around in post coital darkness as on goes the lights and it’s a full change of bed sheets 😂. Actually, not so recent now that I think about it. Definitely always a visual person like you OP, had the pleasure of a lights out session a couple of years ago - blackout curtains and everything. Eerie glow of the clock radio display the only thing providing any kind of illumination. Totally isolates all the other senses, with an amazing effect. I'm not sure about changing the bedsheets immediately after sex though, OP. Take a bit of time to relax and just enjoy the post-coital feelings.

We're both completely different on this one! Mrs preference is lights on, probably because she's blind as a bat with her glasses off😬 My preference is definitely darker... as others have mentioned, it heightens the other senses and really adds to the experience for me. Ha SSE, as long as you're straight but not narrow! Both are good for the different senses that come into play. I probably prefer lights on being a strong visual person, but really do enjoy lights offas it heightens the sense of touch, feel and smell. And for a different experience again try total darkness, which can be difficult to find unless you access to a dark room or cave.

Light on, well, a lamp nearby, at least. And recently, Mrs. urn. has preferred the light on too. If you're really in tune with your senses, they'll work fine, why deny yourself one? Total Blackout. Seal up around any windows and door frames so there is no light, none. So dark you cannot see your hand in front of your face. Now lie still for a while on the bed so your bodies adjust. Slowly start exploring, hands, fingertips, tongues, you get the idea, without sight touch becomes highly sensitive. It's mind blowing.

We love to use led lights that change colour or a black UV light to mix it up a bit. Love the sensuality of the different shades you get especially the reds and blues!
