I saw the movie "Role Models" back a bit, which feature a subculture of people doing a thing called ... Live Action Role PlayING Anyone here ever delved in it? I was an AD&D nerd back in the eighties. I kind of wonder how the genre translates from my expirence in my mate garage to the open plains of some park?

nope, no LARPing for me - though I happily rattled off THAC0s, saving throws and other dice rolly stuff during high school.Who knows what'd happen in the days of YouTube - you could end up living out the rest of your life as the next Star Wars kid ;)
