Hey Stalki good onya....it's been proven also that weight bearing exercise is great for bone density in women.Have a bad fall..a few years ago..slipped on some water..hence i was told that i could have broken my hips due to my age,only for the weights that it hadn't happend..xoxoxoxmummawith all my battle injuries..i'm still agile..hehehe

I used to be a gym addict... I just LOVE the rush, it's always been up there with sex for me and I just love combining the two! But, since I broke up with my personal trainer (remember the prick called me a bad mother) AND I have had my ups and downs with men, my gym life has taken a dive. I'm still doing my 2 Combat classes a week but for someone who trained up to 10 hours a week and is now doing 2 there's a HUGE difference ! And my muscle is disappearing rapidly. Everyday I say "fuck it just do it" but somehow I forget my gym bag.... I need that HOT HOT HOT trainer or gym partner to get sweaty with. And I'm sure my sex life is suffering too !!! Yep, I need to go kick some serious arse, lift some weights and do a couple hundred one arm push ups. Anyone ever considered an orgy at the gym ??? the easiest way to lose weight is to work on energy deficit. ie consume less kJ's than your body requires, doesn't require any additional excersise.But of course there are downsides, you have to put up with feeling constantly hungry and fatigued,and limit carbs and sugar.but i lost 20kg in under 6 months..and people who i didn't see regularly thought i had cancer or something.Cheers Nev

I like good definition, not much sag... even my breasts are more perky since I started bench pressing 40kg ! And there's the leg press for my tight arse.... You are of course right, in that sense, but i was only talking about weight loss not muscle definition. I have some flab on ma belly..lol, but i do a fair bit of manual work, in my contracting business and at the farm, so the rest of me is ok, but for people with sedentary jobs i reckon its a whole different ball game.I also think, that if you do the gym thing to chase definition, then you are locked into it for ever, as you and Gaz are finding out.But basically yeah i feel a whole lot better, for going from 107kg to 86kg, but i think i have hit the wall at 86kg.But i miss spuds...i love spuds....i miss rice....icecream.....chocolate.....Port....Beer......sigghhh!Cheers Nev

Yeah strange that, it must be some sort of built in thing...the body must say thats your natural weight sport....and thats as far as your going, maybe you would have to really starve to go lower.....but then i bet you would go back up in the blink of an eye as soon as normalised your diet. lol at the chasing things other than definition...i can only imagine what other forms of excersise might go on at gyms!might have to dust of me treddlie, hav'nt been on it in a couple of months now!Cheers Nev

Water seems to be the key for me. Got to get those 6-8 glasses a day. Do some exercise and reduce the fat intake. Oh and my doctor says bending my elbow is not exercise, that single malt does not make a good substitute for water, nor for that matter does red wine. As for the fat, I usually try to deliver that to some hot moist cavern......hehehe Oh and I thought that you were meant to burn off lots of calories having sex, so surely if you have a few pounds to lose the answer would be more sex not less........ok off to burn those calories off........... And when you get over forty freaky hormones kick in and can make you fatter!!! ;) You can put on at least 1 kilo a year that is so hard to lose. I know it doesn't sound like much but it all adds up. Getting a gym membership helps keep the weight off! You pay the money so you have to go! Walking and swimming is great too. Lots of fresh air induces a feel good mood. Then it's OK to have some junk food inbetween and some yummy cocktails. ;) This site certainly is to be blamed for inducing love handles but then the sex helps control it too. All great! Enjoy! I lost over 50kgs. Went from a Size 22 to a 14. It took 12 months and I didn't set foot in a gym. Just walked everywhere and ate properly. Lots of water and salads. No starving yourself and no denying yourself a treat now and then. The secret is not to go overboard. Sex is a good way to exercise. I feel so much healthier now.

that sexual intercourse can use up 1600 calories (each that is) . Not sure of its scientific accuracy ..but personally I take it as SAID.. I'm not off to the gym but do need to lose weight, bike accident..no exercise..no bike family pressure sold it.... Bye bye... kwacka... miss you heaps (insert code for crying here) don't know it..lol Green tea, plenty of water, eat sensibly, working in yard, walking....they work. Don't have runners anymore and besides knee and back too painful so no running. Plenty of beer heaps of carbs and protein, and even snack on chocolate for a quick sugar rush hehe. In my late 30's i still dind i can eat pretty much what i want.............The downside is i am still working 50- 60hrs a week in the stinking hot sun, throwing timber and gear around.

I hear you Stalky. I'm gyming 2 times a week and trying not to eat much. Reckon all I need is a bit of sexercise on top of the gym and the kilos would be dropping off. last year I paid $750 for membership at my local gym.. didnt lose an ounce (or gram)when I went and complained they explained that I had to actually attend to lose the weight..lapbanding is working wonders tho, dropped 10kg so far in the last month :)

I have never said people should not eat chocolate. 1 Mars Bar = 45 minutes in a spin class.... So trade off.... unless of course you're like ruffucker and swing a hammer all day. Sex-o-size is my fav form of excersize... burning calaries with a smile on my face :) i recon i could burn 1600cals.. and my sessions usually last a few hours :) as for food i love fruit and vegies, dairy, grains Fruit = red & white wine are made from grapes veggies = vodka is made from potatos.. dairy = ice cream & chocolate are dairy grains = beer is made of maze & yeast ... hehe I supose im very lucky that my parter loves my curves , he does not like skinny woman ... he loves more cushion for the pushin ..hehe..

You guys are funny....well done to everybody that has the will power to get exercising...my self....well I would prefer to get my exercise under the doona. Its amazing how fit i stay and how firm my legs and arse are with this type of exercise. Not bad for a big girl YAY for me. Have to go my door bell is ringing time for another work out lol Hugs and Kisses x x

Said before and will say it again, If ya want to loose weight,naturally, Google Zone.... Every one has forgotten the art...or never been taught, of cooking, and no I dont mean hours of time prepn ova a hot stove....10mins tops We ARE what we eat, and if you eat the absolute shite from all fast food so called convenient places well a big mac is what you will resemble..... Why do we do it to ourselves and our kids??? Jamie Oliver is a legend TOO, buy his book, Ministry of food...yummy, oh n dont eat potatoes :) sweet ones are much better for you all....Enjoy

Resistance training is so need to remove that saggy look. Besides you will grow stronger. Remember its the weight training that gives you shape, not cardio. More muscle you have, the more your body burns fat, standing still. The more Fat you have the less muscle you got, and probably decreasing day by day by habit or bad diet. Tabata or known as Gorilla Training, which is form of resistance cardio is more fun in a group of people than in a gym envrionment. Anyone intersted in training with me?...
