It's a wide open road.....

and I'm going driving on it! So, I'm taking a couple of months off in May/June and I'm going on a road trip. I'm going to go up the coast, and drive to broken hill, and across the nullabor plain and up to broome and... bugger me, I don't know where!So, I know there are some fellow adventures here on this forum, where should I go? Should I come visit you on my travels? ;)

Leave the map in the boot, other than to manage fuel stops etc ( i don't use sat nav....i kinda like maps) and just drive! When you get to a intersection pick whatever direction takes your fancy.Oh and main roads to be used only if unavoidable.Have fun and enjoy our great countryside and don't forget, take your time, its not a race, pull up regularly have a cuppa and just look around. Include some night driving, cant beat a night sky out in bush, city people miss out big time.Got me wishin i was going now.....siggghhCheers Nev
