Just ain't that good....more than 100 less than 1000😳...I have no idea,why does it matter?..,I have been single for most of my life.many people have been in monogamous relationships until suddenly single they go on a sexual journey..Their numbers might still be low if they are looking for quality over quantity,I don't quite get your reasoning OP...Lots of roots are only an indication of lots of roots..Surely it's all about lifestyle choice,attraction ,sexual compatibility,not a score card...XxFreya

Have absolutely no idea, I don't make a notch in my bedpost for every person I've slept with. Also I have no interest in how many people my lover may have slept with, although, if I did know that a prospective lover had slept with thousands it may make me hesitate in going there with them.

this topic was covered mid last year. Numbers mean ... not much... and heres why. Imagine the high school sweethearts, married 50 years and with a very deep connection, happy, and healthy in their sex life and attitudes. They might be the best lovers in the world... and their number may be.... 1. Sadly, one partner dies and the other moves on with someone else.... who has had more sexual experience, yet, is totally blown away by the connectivity , comfort and ability of that person who has known none else. Then there are people who have had a great many lovers..... yet, lack confidence, the ability to trust, connect, explore.... or.... they're selfish..... or compelled by their ego to seek sexual validation.... or......sexually dysfunctional...... or perhaps they're just crap. So clearly, the number 1..... can be significantly more impressive.... than the number 100. I say..... I don't care what someones number is... as long as it has given them the experience to offer significant benefit the next person. DG

So what do you mean by lover exactly? What if you don't know their names, do they count? What about one night stands? Do they count? What about a few Kisses and pulling a pecker or two... Or at the same time. Do they count? What if you have fisted a girl but nothing else, does that count? What about bonking people with toys and strapons, do they count? What about going down on girls but no penetration, does that count? What about blokes going to glory holes, does that count? I mean going to a swingers party you could have some form of sexual contact with 10-20 people..... Do thy count??? My view is that I have had sex with someone if they have penetrated me... The rest don't count. Agree? I haven't kept count and my memory is not so great, but I thinks it's under 30. I have met women that have had more men in a gang bang than I have had in my whole life. What can I say... This catholic Upbringing has been a real inhibitor really. :-(

also confused as to why you would assume that a woman who has had sex with few men wouldn't be a match for you. But then again I don't really get the interest in how many former sex partners someone has had, period I certainly don't keep count of my own numbers, it's probably over 50 now but apart from that I wouldn't have a clue. I can't even remember the names of a lot of them .

I suppose it's our own judgement about what we would consider a lover to be. I loved 'em all with my body and my heart, some I will never remember the names for, but most I will, so I think it's more about that for me than numbers Joder. . Sounds like some of the questions on the thread are leading onto a whole new topic that I'd be curious to see posted... About why numbers are important to people. . You are making a judgement if you think that a woman who has only had 'a few' probably isn't for you. There's nothing wrong with that, we're all entitled our opinions, and to use the information we have at hand to make a decision as to whether someone/something is worth going further with. Just don't say that you don't 'judge' people when it's clear that you do. We all do in some form or another. To answer your question, I have no interest in the numbers... either my own or the person that I'm with at the time :) I'm just interested in the sex that the two of us are currently having :) Much love, Elle xx

Because it is all about the connection between two people and to me that is what makes it all worth it. She may be a virgin or only ever had one partner but if the connection is there and the kissing is great, then so what about experience, it is the passion which makes it great. And even if you have had lots of lovers, always find discovering that connection to be a fun and delicious experience

What can I say.... I know some women keep lists as do some blokes I am sure. Actually a friend of mine was keeping a spreadsheet when she was online dating. A blokes name in one column, and a few comments about his situation or about him in the other columns as this was the only way she keep track of all the guys she was speaking too.

When talking about numbers I thought you were referring to the unfair ratio of men to women.Australia wide it's supposed to be about 1-1 across all age groups. But the Females:Take away the Lesbians. Take away the married/attached. Take away those no longer interested and then the scales tip wildly in favour of the females.This demographic allows the single female FAR more choice in men! Go to any social event and you find FAR more men there. An uncontrolled swingers event about 30 men to 1 woman. A dating site? about 100 men to 1 woman seeking.It's little wonder that the suicide rate is so high in single men!Lord Flash

Most of us have probably had one we'd rather forget. Does that count? What about the ones we didn't enjoy as much as we like Do we scratch that one from the record books too? Or can we double upon those amazing encounters.. and count those as 2? Numbers....... are for people who feel a need to brag... because they struggle with their self worth without it.
