Any activity with exposure to bodily fluids is dangerous.Being exposed via the mouth lessens the risk a little unless you have open sores or sensitive gums but there's always a risk. No sex is perfectly 100% safe, that's why testing is still essential even if you use barriers like condoms and dams.

we dont understand If your are in an open relationship I would have thought that is a risk you both have decided to take. Same as couple knows they could pick something up...only difference they pick it up together. But then if your not in a open relationship...you will have some explaining to do...lol

Completely agree with MissSarahCurious. Getting tested would probably be the best idea, but I don't think it will happen e.g. noone goes clubbing, picks up and ask their partnerto get tested first. Maybe if you have plans to meet in the long run but in the heat of the moment, many things can happen, even using condoms or not. It's a big risk to take

any sexual contact is dangerous...especially if you are sharing fluids.....its actually more likely that you'd bring something home than not, regardless of the precautions you take, because your risk of exposure increases dramatically with every new encounter you or your partner has.......

I mean if you're going to play, play responsibly and test regularly.

Unfortunately 3 out of every 5 on this site and in real life carry an STD mainly herpes simplex A , can appear at anytime and reappear, you are reasonably safe if there is no current outbreak but still not 100% foolproof. Charles Bronsons wife died of Aids and he has sex with her for 5 years and never got it. Why waste time with condoms anyway its like getting in the shower with a raincoat on. If someone has had 50 partners and fuck another of the same thats a 2500/1 risk and plus all the other thousands they have fucked.

It amazes me how many comments are posted in these forums about protective sex and blasting those who have "if required" on their profile for Practice Safe Sex. Yes, it is responsible to wear condoms, not only for contraceptive reasons but also to "reduce" as it doesn't totally "preven"t contracting STD's. I have been to parties and seen certain members on here performing oral and yet they are the ones condemning. Are they aware that you can contract all the STD's orally as well.

We think much the same as you fun4some2, I know the bashing we would get if we came on and said...if you do that its instant a never, u are missing brains etc etc. Too much talk about STD and protection we think..."all thats too hard why bother, swinging is not that important we will give the whole idea a miss" I reckon those have chased lots of couples away from the lifestyle, dont they think we just might like to decide for ourselves our own risk profile?

The biggest fear we have is not that playing with others will cause us to have cracks in our marriage, but that we will pick something up and bring it home.I honestly don't understand how people don't protect themselves and those who do have something aren't open and honest.MrsSplicey
