They are looking for the next best thing! When they don't find it they come running back...weeks, months and in some cases years after! < These men need to get it into their heads that we don't want them for anything other than sex! I think that they have themselves too high on a pedastal and think we want them for more! They make me laugh! Do what I am doing...take applications for a new one or two or more....it is fun to try out new potential FB's! xFunlovingx

I believe regular FBs believe we are on-tap and therefore frequently put other priorities (eg fishing, footy, hotty at the bar) ahead of us. . I think they take us for granted. . My technique ? Two no-shows and you're out ! I don't chase. . Guess the downside to RHP is that it teaches many of us to act just like men and to use and recycle or disregard. Make 'em come to you! That'll sort the wheat from the chaff. Or at least come closer to you, a town or two away?Also, you can't really agree to regular hook-ups until you've actually met someone. Anyone saying they're keen to hook up regularly, without meeting you, is blowing smoke up your arse, or that desperate/unattractive/sad that they'll say anything!

Agreed, once the guy has to travel 1 or 2 hours to "hook up", you're sure he's commited (or should be :D)..The distance between small country towns up here, and the smallish population make it difficult up here in NQ. I'm in the next major centre south of hotstuff2, and that's a good 45 minute drive. So I'd probably want to know a little bit more, than "manicured nails and a gorgeous cleavage", before committing to a 1.5 hour round trip.

I agree with a lot of what CM has said here, but I'm the first to admit that I have been very fortunate not to have been burnt by total letdowns on this site, so I'm willing to accept my view may or may not be somewhat naive. I prefer to think I've had the success that I have because I am fussy, selective and play by a set of my own rules that ensure I am not let down, regardless of outcome. You get back what you put it in. I don't think you've shot yourself in the foot at all with this post CM. Rather, I think you put forth an alternate view that I am probably going against the "female grain" by agreeing with. I've only copied the bits of your post that I agree with by the way, but all of it actually makes a lot of sense. Maybe the reality of it, particularly in this venue is that you are right...the odds are so incredibly weighted your way that you don't have to worry too much. Theoretcially of course...I would suggest there may just be quite a few half decent guys out there but they would be unfortunately as hard to spot in the crowd as the perrenial needle in a hay stack...so why bother looking too hard for them when you can be booked out or have them lined up at the door on call? In an RHP world where the balance of sexes is so heavily weighted, it's too easy to lose perspective. Some expectations are set in advance no matter whose rules you are playing by, aren't they? I think that this is really the heart of the matter. Everyone here has an agenda of some sort, it's your responsibility to work out to the best of your ability, what that is and whether it's a good 'fit' with your own. . I do hope your luck improves OP, the good ones are out there, you just have to search a little harder than perhaps you would like.

...including being honest with yourself with your expectations. Sometimes any relationship begins with great expectations and promises, it is only time (1 or 2 meetings ?) that enables you both to discover if you ready, willing and able to fulfill those promises and expectations. . Occassionaly one or the other has the courtesy to say "sorry, its just not working out for me how we hoped" and at least you have an answer as to why they are constantly backing out. . Most of the time though, male & female...many just want a romp and will say whatever it takes to get their rocks off and disappear into the vapour, never to be heard from again. They can talk the talk.....but very rarely walk the walk......they are just all words for their own ego with no respect for another persons feelings. .

we are constantly being asked for 'regular meets', but its not ever going to happen......we dont wish to meet our next 'best friends' here, and really dont have the time or energy to establish and maintain any sort of 'relationship' with someone who is just meant to be a 'playmate'...... besides, loading play up with 'expectations. and 'conditions' makes it into a chore, and thats not playful at all..........
