Mate, you can never be too romantic! And you don't have to be a sissy to feel and show emotion. Oh the occupation post, mmmm I did have a little dig at Waggy too but only in context of the lines of a lot of his posts and to all but one I would think you could see it was done in a playful mood? I missed the show you're talking about but sounds like a nice outcome. One of my greatest fears is that all Mrs Pups and my hard work for the future will be shattered by such an event. I can't comprehend the pain I would feel in losing her and hope I'm fortunate to be spared that tragedy and have a happy and safe family. We never know what's around the corner so we should grab life and shake everything we can out of it so here's a tissue ya big softy, don't go changing !!

There are a million and one stories like that in the world. Yes it is inspiring and no one wants thier loved ones to die. Good on him for having the fortitude to search for, and find the treatment she needed. But tell me...are we supposed to only have topics about the hardships we endure in life? Is every thing else innappropriate? This is a social site for adults...it is the first point of contact for like minded people who may or may not wish to meet. Not too many would be logging on every day if they could only discuss life changing deeds or acts of such commitment.

The folks that run the media mind mulcher do manage to time slot a lot of things to suit...that's why the real news about things like the economy and where we are right now globally comes on so farking early in the morning that most folks miss it. I wonder why... | The spin doctors, too...wonder if that story could not have been told in a different way with a bright light shining rather than one that was aimed at the tear ducts. Here is one that was reported overseas but is one of those "everyday hero" kind of things we don't hear enough about... | "An Australian man who has been donating his extremely rare kind of blood for 56 years has saved the lives of more than two million babies. He has an antibody in his plasma that stops babies dying from Rhesus disease, a form of severe anaemia. He has been giving blood every few weeks since he was 18 years old and has now racked up a total of 984 donations. His blood has since led to the development of a vaccine called Anti-D". | Pity that was not reported (to my knowledge) here in Oz. Nothing at all wrong with emotions...embrace them. | As for that "other post"...the track record suggested how the "horse race" was going to finish and think most all of the comment were quite funny...especially after the thread started to morp, so no harm no foul, not even a fowl joke about duck tape. Now then... | ...let's talk about sex.

I think the media outlets were barred from sharing that story because although we now have a vaccine for Rhesus, no such thing exists for dying of boredom. Now let me just set my vcr, because Today Tonight has a story about meat content in pie's. I think they are doing a taste test too!!! Unmissable tv.

Quoting 'Jean_Girard' Unmissable tv. | I have all the McDonald's commercials on DVD. Trade you for the TT series...but only if you have all of them. | PS...if you have deleted the commercials, no deal. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. | There is a lot to be said for the intellectual journalism on The Wiggles too.

to loose a partner is a feeling I hoped never to come face to face with but unfortunatly we cant predict what the future holds and after 20 years of being together i had the misfortune of walking in and finding that he had died in his sleep he was 39 and it was our sons 13th birthday, it is a feeling like ur whole world has been ripped apart and the ground taken out from under you, you walk around in a daze not sure which way is up or down the only comforting thought is that his death was painless for him and that he died where he loved to be at home with me and the kids where he was happiest so ladies and gentelmen listen to someone who knows take each day as a gift always tell your loved ones that you love them and do what you would like to do now dont put it off for a later date because that date may never come, laugh often love deeply and enjoy everyday

I really feel for you Jane as I don't fear my own death but fear that of those around me as there are a few people I just don't want to do with out! Your advice is particularly relevant as I've had a shit of a few weeks, you know everything just not going to plan, if something could break down it has and I'm all thumbs to fix it! Then there's people you're not close to that can really heap a lot of stress on. It's annoying how little things piled on top of each other can get us down but so long as we can turn around in the middle of it all and laugh at ourselves we'll pull through just fine. The big things are another matter, hard to know how anyone finds the strength but they do. I love my life and I love the people close to me, I'm off to tell them so

Jane, Sad sorry and so young. Someone close to me died unexpectantly and it was difficult to come to terms with. My only wish it was peaceful as you have mentioned. What you say is correct. Treasure your loved ones and friends.
