I know what you mean about the home being linked to that part of you, i have my children one week on/one week off and their week is no-play week so i have certain little things i need to do to the place to create that shift in my mind from 'mummy mode' to 'my time'. If it's not done, i have trouble letting go and don't really feel like playing. . If a change of scene will help you slip more easily into the part, do it. . even if you're not embarking on something new, there's nothing quite like dirty hotel sex! . xx Sarah

I certainly never entertain the idea of it being in our home. We have teenagers and the thought of them returning home one night when they said they were going to be out would be a little awkward ;-) Plus it is just way too personal a space for me...allowing someone into our home under these circumstances would be extremely rare. I would always fear if something were to ever go wrong or someone cross the line they know where you live!

Lilly have to agree with Chilli ..But meet n greets are a mission to go to when you live in the lovely Sth West. Hmmm..maybe I should hold one for us here to meet.. I have hosted 2 in Perth, 1 was co-hosted with the lovely rockercouple80. Huge success and I got lots of mail after the event from couples saying thanks and they had met a few couples they were keen to play with. As I am now with a partner .. We have talked about meets with others and where to play... and it simple, meet at a bar n if the chemistry is there then off to home we all go! lolz. Weather it is their place or ours. I do not like hotels for play as I am vocal so don't want to upset those sleeping next door.. hahha. We are planning to get a spa soon so there is no way we want to waste an opportunity to have some sexy souls sharing it with us. Huggies ranga_n_sweetp xxxxxxxxxxxxxx PS.. Those in the Sth west ...If you are keen to have a meet n greet social nite then message us. There are a few venues here that would be great to hold one.

For us, our home is really the only practical 'playground' as we have a young family and no family here for babysitting. We have sitters that we pay, but add to that the hotel cost and it becomes a very expensive playdate. Providing we are comfortable with the people we have over, we don't see it is a problem...not ideal but not a problem... That's not to say that if hotels were a regular choice for us, that we wouldn't take advantage....especially love the laundry aspect...as busy parents, we have plenty of regular laundry to do lol!!I think you should do what you feel comfortable doing, and nothing else!Good luck!

We tend to keep and treat swing friends and vanilla friends very different. Our way, Never play at home. Even swing friends at home with your children there, your children WILL pick up on it. 4 star rented apartments is best for us away from home

I agree with everything Chilli said on this one..... I think maybe your husband is thinking that you may both feel more comfortable in your own space particularly the first time. But I am with you Lilly - better to go to neutral ground so you don't have to worry about anything, you don't have to prepare anything and you can make a quick get away if required!!!Otherwise hope it is awesome!!!xxMeeka

Personally I think you have spice it up a little. Pick a lot of different places. Parks, beaches, where ever your imagination runs wild. You will have adventures. Nothing is more pleasing than mystery. Once we met a couple at a club, found a alleyway, and did it in the back of our van and against the chain link fence. Spicy. Dee.

I really think it is a case by case scenario. We always try to meet a new couple on neutral territory. That way we get a chance to know them before they are in our home. Some couples we have been comfortable straight away and it has been easy to have them over and even to stay. The one time that we broke the rule, and a couple that we hadn't met before came to our house it was SHOCKING!!! We had seen pics and massaged a bit and they seemed normal enough...But WOW pictures can lie...This couple we wouldn't have even looked twice at on the street...not our type at all. It was awkward, we were both like 'what do we do' and they were like 'jackpot'....We were polite hosts and offered nibbles and alcohol...... They got wasted really quickly too, so couldn't drive and had to stay over. Seriously, we made sure everything of value was locked or away. So LOL will not break that rule again!!

we had our first swing at a farm stay cottage only a couple of hours south of sydney there were 4 other couples there that weekend it worked out really great but that was because the person organizing the weekend vetted every one very closely.was well worth it. I think they are going to organize another weekend soon.

We have no problem playing at home as long as we know what our teenage daughter is doing and when she's not coming home. We always like to meet on neytral ground first ,at a pub or coffee shop ,then we can always walk away if we don't click and no harm done.We have had a few surprises with meeting people who's profile's are a bit misleading so this is how we don't get ourselves into a situation we don't want to be in.
