I think this is beautiful! I also think that this thread will be worth following ... until it winds up being pulled. . As I always say, your posts are a very useful tool for me around here, as they assist me in highlighting those people who I would be best to avoid contact with. You always manage to bring derision with you wherever you go... Those who "get" you, I tend to somehow find myself giving a bit of a nod to. Those who do not, unfortunately, due to my fractured sense of humour and to a lesser extent, my intellect, tend not to fair so well. It's a pity, but it's proven a fairly good barometer to date LOL. . I'm not sure whether Oscar's "A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal" is appropriate for the posts that will likely follow mine, or if perhaps "Always forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them so much" is more fitting . You know I love your nasty, sarcastic sense of black humour. Often it fits mine to a tee and you never fail to give me a laugh...even when others are outraged. But then I have been called a sociopath by one on this site as well. l Ahem the question is...what is the strangest compliment I have ever recived? l Many years ago in my distant youth while working in outback NSW in the shearing shed, I was often the only woman in the team. After a while I seemed to be stuck with the same group of young guys who were great fun on the weekends at the pub. Anyway, working up around St George on the Qld/Nsw border, we were at the pub one weekend and the boys were fair running down the girls. Not those present, just in general. When I finally commented that I was one of that sex and I was actually right there. One of them looked at me in utter surprise and said... "But you are one of the boys"

..so there are some rhp posters that I avoid like the plauge.. If I come across 'Nicks' comments I just move along to something more entertaining and lighter. Why anyone would want to depress themself with some of those drawn out comments is beyond me..

What others think about us really dosn't matter, what they say only affects us if we let it. If they say you are no good, usually it is because they have such a low oppinion of themselves and putting someone else down makes them feel better and will the comment affect you, NO. Get on with your life, believe in your self, what others think is none of your busisness. If what they say has any affect on you it should be to prove them wrong. We looked over your profile and my wife said if she was a girl in your age bracket you would be on her to do list. Get out there and have fun..

There are those who know the full story, and those who don't. I make a special note to point out that its often the ones who don't, who always seem to fling mud and usually at me whether I ask them to or not. I would also like to point out ever so graciously that SalAndy's post may be viewed as 'original' based solely on the fact that anyone who isn't me seems to have instant posting priveliges., and this thread is in fact at least a day and a half late... but nice try. If I was going to steal someone else's material I'd at least leave a reference. While I am on a roll, I'd also like to point out to the ever so lovely justjuice that Themself is not a word. Go back to school please you offend my entire profession. You should have said "Depress themselves" that is the correct english. Go back and get your HSC, please... so we can continue this exhilarating discussion. As usual I agree with everything Flirty and Fiona B have said - and just to clarify, if it needs clarifying - I hold no ill will of any sort towards SalAndy, it was just the typical male-male overexaggeration/miscommunication. In saying that, you can guarantee that for better or worse, should my name be mentioned in any thread or any topic regardless of relevance to the discussion.... of course I'm going to try and milk it. I am the brand after all, and you do pay more for the brands. The deeper question is, why would I very uncharacteristically go out of my way to offend someone I find desirable both intellectualy and aesthetically, of course referring to Sal here... on purpose, not on accident? The logic is flawed at best. Frankly the whole thing became tiresome before the thread was pulled. For what's its worth, I've apologized profusely to Sal... and the funny thing is she was even quicker to apologize to me. So I guess you could say its almost a win-win situation? I seem to be in a rather unique position where women find me hilarious and men seem to want to knock my block off... so I guess I'm doing something right. Any thoughts?

I think we all get a bit of hate mail now and then...probably best to ignore it and have a laugh. If the chicks dig it...who cares? What does sort of freak me out is the number of views my profile seems to get from men on this site...and hence the reason I ditched my friends list and never did do the validations thing. They either couldn't think of anything clever to write on their own or wanted to see if the last 99 women that had rejected them were on the list I guess...who really cares. | Could just be that you are outhinking it, Nick. The thing is I come into forums to read the interesting topics, After a shit day of some negativity, i look to forums for some light hearted fun. I think thats what they put me on from about 18 months old to the age of two. It was to numb the pain rom the gaping hole in my skull, where they found 30% of my cerebral cortex missing. Then when I got older, they put me onto Carbamazapene... had I have had a say in the matter, and had I have known the side effects, I sooner would have been smothered to death.
