I was interstate for a work trip and took the opportunity to meet up with a dating couple for drinks. Both were good looking, charismatic people, however her voice was a little high-pitched for my liking. Regardless, I invited them back to my hotel room as I naively thought that we probably wouldn't be talking that much for the rest of the evening anyway. She had requested that I tie her up, blindfold her and tease her while her boy watched, and I did so quite happily... until she started to squeal..The high-pitched squealing eventually got too much for me, and I got up, got dressed, apologised and left the room, giving them an hour to 'finish up' if they wanted. Also, a lack of brains always turns me off, without question... Not necessarily academic ability, but general knowledge and common sense, lacking ditziness and plain stupidity.

Like a zombie on the hunt I need brains. At a local club that I frequent I found some brains. She had been there many times but I never noticed her at all. One night as the club emptied I decided to sit down next to her and have a chat. I was just random selection. I was not trying to pick her up, I just love to chat. We started to talk and now 5 months on we still talk endlessly and I love it. She has become my best friend. There are plenty of hot bodies and sexy looks out there, but if there is no intellect, wit, or wisdom behind the outer layer I am not interested. Someone can have the hottest body in the world but I does nothing for me. I love brains as its the sexiest organ we have.

Would have to be David Beckham, that guy has it going on... then he opens his mouth and out comes that high pitched cockney twang, now its not the cockney that puts me off... love the english accent, have had a few lovely pommies in my time, but the high pitch... Yes Krissy, know exactly where you are coming from. Brings to mind the old moccona coffee ad with the lovely coffee coloured man, then he squeaks out the punchline to the ad.

To digress slightly, when we see a profile that interests us,does having a face pic influence our thoughts.Would we have started communication with that person if not put off by a pic.Have we missed an opportunity to meet a person with brains & substance just by a pic,we may have even been ambivalent towards the pic,it just didn't catch our eye.It that one of the strengths of internet meeting sites, that communication can start before being influenced by apperances.

And isn't it a tragedy when it does! . You see someone who ticks all your boxes for physical attraction and then......wham......from 100% interest to "get me out of here!" the mind is the ultimate sex organ, I love to explore how someone's mind works. What drives them? What arouses them and why? What do other like to do? Can we talk if it's not sexual? All important things. To be honest if I met a supermodel (and I wouldn't) and we couldn't carry a conversation, i wouldn't be climbing into bed!

Yes' I know people who's voices make me cringe. Usually when excited the pitch starts to rise and gnaws on your nerves.Im sure they dont mean to be offensive and are just being them self, but how does a man go about pointing it out so they cant correct it.. ? Theres no nice way, and even then should we even try ?I know a girl.. lovely good looking sexy lady but with a voice that would make any man knee's buckle.. Great in bed as long as she doesnt talk, and who wants that... good to hear a good ole awwwww... but when its a eeeeeeeek , sure makes it hard to concentrate.. I was recently told I have a sexy voice which is a nice compliment at any time , so maybe I should'nt be judgemental ...

I have like others been put off by the sound of a voice... but believe myself to be particularly auditory to the point of arousal just by hearing a lovers voice. But as Smiling says... we can be put of by the look of another and miss out on so much.. I do have a type, but that doesnt stop me from exploring those not necessarily the same. But the voice... hmm thats a no go. xx

so bad voice is a no go for lot of you..if the body there why not just jam their face between your legs and spend the night lip readings...it so rude to talk when mouth is full anyway

I'm a sucker for a sense of humour. I can meet a person - or have known them for some time & not be attracted physically to them in the slightest. But then as I get to know them better I see they have a mad sense of humour -I'm hooked! After that, in my eyes they become the most beautiful person in the world to me.Also, a person with self awareness & acceptance, with a positive outlook & inspiring views who is respectful of others will also find me attracted, despite an initial lack of physical attraction. But they still have to love a laugh & not take themselves too seriously.Modesty & an open mind are a must.If I'm physically attracted to someone & then realise they have an inflated ego - it's off. A person with an inflated ego has an exaggerated sense of importance and a feeling of superiority over others. In my experience such a trait is usually accompanied by rudeness, lack of respect for others & often a closed mind which I find unbearable. Self confidence is awesome & beautiful, but arrogance is a terribly ugly characteristic & no level of physical beauty will nullify that for me.

Yes, they can conjure up all types of viisuals when talking over the phone before a meet. I am attracted to them myself, though when I finally do meet up, sometimes feel a little let down. Guess its all about perspective in the end. Guys are always telling me they love how I sound. Maybe I remind them of their mum!
