I know I shouldn't but I can't help myself.....

May 01 2011

I just love CARBS!!! And its so weird how I seem to crave the crusts from a loaf of bread. . Oh no, I don't yearn for the big fat soft slice from the middle of the loaf... (ok, yeah I do) but I seem to get so much MORE pleasure when I eat the crust! I have also noticed that I will add more flavour on top than I usually do on a normal slice of bread. What can this mean?? . Your thoughts/comments.

It means you hair will go curly. We've been buying "light'n'easy" since we don't have to prepare family meals (the kids moved out yay!). No meal planning.. no grocery shopping... no lunch packing..... it really is light and easy... hehe. Feel hungry and 8 minutes later and dinner is cooked! It tastes good too, btw. Anyway, I just eat what they tell me, crust and all... except for Pizza night. :pIf your body is craving carbs then you're not eating often enough, I think.HugsStalky

If it is, I can totally understand! The crust of any kind of bread is like bread with a bit of added "oomph!" I love it too! And so my thought is that you should absolutely keep it up! :-D

I lost 50kgs by cutting the carbs and upping the veggies. I stopped having and craving those lovely soft crusty rolls and loaves. Now I have put back on 12 kgs because I have gone back to eating crusty rolls and loaves. BE WARNED!

I'm a carb fan but I try not to eat too many before I play other it seems to slow me down. I actually have more sexual energy on a slightly empty tummy. As for the end of the loaf.... I love the crusts too, especially toasted with lots of butter. They are extra crunchy and I love crunch ! If you really want to cut down on carbs then eat more protein (eg meat). Grilled chicken breast cut in slices and dipped in salsa is a yummy and satisfying snack. I also like chilli sauce...it curbs appetitie. x Saturn.

I was really into carbs for a while...twin Holley four barrels sitting on top of a blueprinted 351 Cleveland and you were off to the races. | Then some dickheads started talking about conservation and fuel injection....and now I have to send everything to the shop for a tune up. | Oh about the bread...just eat the good part yourself and make sandwichs for the kids with the rest. They won't eat the crust anyway no matter what you put in there. | | | Little Deuce Coupe...The Beach Boys.

Quoting 'HotSexyChilli'BabyGirl, I notice your intimate details on your profile don't mention your pubic hair, and it doesn't say "ask me" so I won't. But assuming you are manicured or waxed as so many RHPers are, then perhaps we can surmise that your body craves what it needs... Now we all know that crusts make your hair grow curly. If hair is thwarted in it's natural inclination towards pubic growth, the "survival of the fittest" principle kicks in. Your body is attempting to provide your genital region with all the essential macronutrients necessary for strong, durable, steel-wool type pubic hair. Don't fight nature babygirl, indulge and keep up those regular visits to your beauty therapist. Chilli xx Awww c'mon, we've just claimed a victory in the war on terror because they found some dude who would look at home in a 7-11 or Melbourne taxi dead in a cave... Please just because we are one step up on terror, let's not get complacent and let our guards down in the war on pubic hair. I love my sourdough bread, especially the crusts, but if I need to quit it to help rid the world of the evil scurge nestled away in our underwear I will.... I'll just live on apple and walnut scrolls... I'm ok with that..

I personally like the inners of the bread. Heavy, dense, chewy loaves. Light, fluffy, sweet loaves. Nutty, crunchy loaves. . I don't believe in deprivation. Eat and enjoy your bread. Take up running. Never feel guilty. As long as you burn off more than you take in you can eat anything you feel like.

Quoting 'irresponsibility' I personally like the inners of the bread. And if the running isn't working... step up the exercise regime... I mean I reckon amonst us all here we can come up with a few choice ways to burn off bread. . What's your bread-burning position? What gets you super sweaty and feeling like you've just run a marathon?(meh - why start a new thread!)....

Quoting 'Jean_Girard' . What's your bread-burning position? What gets you super sweaty and feeling like you've just run a marathon?(meh - why start a new thread!).... I ride and enjoy spending time with the doggy. I like lots of stretching and hot and sweaty pursuits that elevate my heart rate. Occasionally, I enjoy water sports (of the non-acidic variety). This affords me the ability to eat whatever takes my fancy . If my diet is indeed a diet, I think it's working for me quite nicely, no deprivation necessary ... depravity is altogether another matter LOL

I have enjoyed reading your thoughts and advice.... but seriously people, my carb eating fetish is a metaphor about my sex life!!! . Do I want to relish what others shy away from? . Do I enjoy the crusts more by the simple fact that I really shouldn't? . And knowing that perhaps I shouldn't be enjoying the 'crusts' so much, I deliberately (consciously or subconsciously) dollop on more toppings to feed my own pleasure?! . Or am I so fucking proud of myself that I have embraced the sum of all my experiences and will partake anything that takes my fancy??? . Is that all it means by my craving? . mmmmmm so many analogies cums to mind from the simple but humble crust of bread.....

Hmmmm have to say Baygirl, I've been known to prefer the flavour of the crust, but have possibly eaten more of the soft centre parts to date. But I see what you mean, now that I've tasted it, I do want more and believe its always possible that it is addiction forming behaviour. Am I content to have it only now and then , because I know its not good for my waist? or do I just bump up the exercise for some counter weight? food for thought anyway Your cravings could mean that your tastes have changed, you know, for that bit of something diff to the rest
