I am STD free..what you mean by this?

February 27 2013

a) At a particular time you know it as a matter of fact from clinical testing. (and/or) b) You are not aware of any reasons for example risky behaviour or symptoms, to believe that you have STD. (and/or) c) You simply believe STD only happens to others. (and/or) Something else..

I would say testing every 6 months at least especially if you have more than 3 partners within that given time.

just because someone tell you their std free, do you beleive them..in a world where people just hook up for sex ,their not going to tell the truthe of who they slept with or what they might or might not have..

From your test and without sex, a negativity is a negative. Well who can know. Who can say for sure. Ride the odds, the odds are good. Fuck did that guy in the train just sneeze, see you all in bird flue hell.

I guess unless you are tested every time you sleep with someone it can never be just a) But to me it means I'm regularly tested and always practice safe sex, I would hope no one thinks its option c) - Posted from rhpmobile

Isn't all just a calculated risk - even if you're tested every day, you can never be sure...

I don't really like how some people say they're STD free, because in reality a very specific set of conditions has to be met for them to be 100 percent sure that they don't have anything. If someone asked me (and strangely nobody ever has) I would say that my last STD screen which was however long ago was clear, and also specify whether or not I"ve had sex with anyone since then and if condoms were used etc, and that would include for oral sex as well as intercourse. There's so many variables that factor into the spread of STDs that there would be very few people who could say with complete certainty that they're clear. Even with the screening, some diseases can only be tested for in urine and I don't know about other localities but up here that's not part of the 'standard' screen which involves blood only, and you have to ask for the additional urine test.

Unfortunately practising "safe sex" is a statement people conveniently use as a placebo. They put on a condom for intercourse, but only after have licked your genitalia and put their finger in your anus. Bye the way, how many of you have had an adult diphtheria/tetanus shot in the last decade? Not to mention a flu shot or even protection from whooping cough?

Infections can be passed on during sex.

I have had Hep A, doing Hep B now, the one for genital warts that can cause cervical cancer, and I have had a tetanus shot in the last 10 years. And probably others I can't remember. Mainly due to the travel I do. I have still contracted a STI in the past. Yes I use a condom for penetration of the penis and other sex toys. But not for fingers, and not for things that go in my mouth. - Posted from rhpmobile

The chances of catching something when practicing safe sex is reasonably low. BUT, and its always the but' it can happen. So what do we do' we get checked out just in case. All these Clinic's and Medical centres are making a motza out putting the fear of into our lives ' just in case '. We know it ' but we they could be right ' so we get checked out ' just in case'.. A know a guy who always leaves me nodding my head.. He has a reckless attitude when it comes to sex . He's not too fussy who he gets with and if he doesnt need to use a condom he wont. He has been with prostitutes, sex holidays you name it.. and zilch.. He has never caught anything ? So are we paranoid' or what.. ? I dont know. ? But this makes you wonder...

Most babies are now receiving Hep B vaccine at birth and with following immunisations, wouldn't it wonderful if we could eliminate that little 'ol bug?

Unfortunately, women can pick up these STI's much more easily then men. You guys are depositing it into women, so for women it is always are much larger risk not using a condom. - Posted from rhpmobile

Like I said, we use condoms ' just in case ' just the way it is these days. I don't know about women being more likely to catch STIs . I once worked with a married guy who lead a double life who contacted HIV and kept sleeping with his wife. When she found out , she got checked out and was clean .? I remember discussing why she never contacted anything , she was told it was because the vagina wall was so thick it is harder to become infected. ? I'm only repeating what I was told ' so don't shoot me down. The sad part for this family was that he succumbed to the disease leaving his wife to raise 3 kids.

Fuck, that last commentator is looking for trouble. Prostitutes have to have them every month. Safe sex is essential. That means, sorry guys, much as I love cum, you ain't doing it in my mouth, much as I'd love it: face, hair, tit, puss (but not in it) is no problem and I don't want to suck a cock with a condom on until its ready to blow...plus I like to whack a naked cock against my clit; sure fire squirt. You get a feel for these things & most guys are as conscie. as I am. Think they are more at risk, actually, 'cos they love gobblin.... whatever...& I DO love to be gobbled.....For me to cop any guy's body fluids, no matter how hot he is, he'd have to have daily checks. Boring shit! Price paid... I DO NOT WANT AN STD or anyone to accuse me of giving them one. "COS I KNOW I WON"T. That being said, frangers DO break or come adrift. So when they do, you get tested.
