I'm an Aussie sheila born to a low income family, raised by a middle income family and living in a low income family. Classy is good for looking at, so is raunchy... not in all cases of course. Haha and bearing in mind the old saying, don't judge a book by it's cover! Peachy

I like to dress classy. Although because of my breast size alot of my clothing is tight or shows some cleavage. But seriously wearing a top with a high neckline just makes my boobs look bigger. Sometimes I like to shock people. I look all sweet and innocent and demure.......... then I say something absolutely filthy or depraved just to see their reaction. I have had many a person sitting opposite me at a table starring at me like Bambi in the headlights. Close your mouth dear.

that class is innate. You don't inherit it and you can't buy it. One of my favourite sayings is "Money cannot buy style!" and class is no exception. I see examples of it all the time. How many people do you see who are loaded and still they not only look like crap but also conduct themselves and go about their daily lives in ways that are very undignified. Class is a timeless state of 'grace' not the state of your bank account!

of class and raunch indeed is you Ms.Meeka.I totally agree that class is something that no money can buy but I also think it can be aquired.Economic status has nothing to do with it but it is how you go about your way in the world. I recently saw something posted that prompted this OP.It was clear that the poster had a totally different view of what constitutes ''classy'' than me.I think what they actually were talking about, was raunchy glamour and glizt. But that is just my opinion,a subjective view.

Class is choosing the best thing to wear when what you have is limited, or the right thing to buy when you have to watch every dollar. Or the best words, when time is short. Raunchy is in the eye of the beholder: what one person thinks of as hot, another might see as over-the-top. :)

To me is more about how someone carries themsleves in public. The dress is obviously a part of that but how one behaves is of the utmost importance. You don't have to be wearing Armani (although it would help LOL) as long as what you are wearing is appropriate for where you are, is clean and pressed and fits well. Then it's standing up straight, having your nails in good clean order, your hair well done, smelling nice and not drinking so much you fall over drunk and make a right prick of yourself. (See any big race day!) Looking raunchy has it's place though and can be done really well, it just has to be done at the right event or gathering. I have known some very classy people who still like to do very raunchy things!

and this is just my opinion, so don't stab me.....please"Fashions fade, style is eternal."— Yves Saint-Laurent"Classy" for me is classic. Classic is elegance and elegance is timeless. It comes from within, like beauty."Classy" is always tasteful and seductive rather than overtly sexual."Raunchy" can be seductive, but I think it's a fine line, where If crossed, is more sexual. It is in your face as opposed to being understated and can be cheap.

Class, raunch, glamour and sexiness for me is a persons self or personality. I have known people who can make ordinary seem incredibly sexy and amazing. I think the person makes the glamour raunch and sexiness.

Being classy is about carrying yourself with dignity in whatever situation you find yourself. It's not so much about dress as deportment and self respect.

There's tasteful class and then there's distasteful class. To me CLASSY is elegance with style and how one carries themselves, being graceful. I will also add self-dignity with confidence and pride.. Foxy - Posted from rhpmobile

Sharing freshly shucked oysters with a bottle of France's finest bubbles with some one special is classy. Having a beer on a Friday afternoon with the boys after work is raunchy.

It's an outward reflection of someone's integrity, ethics and values. They might be rough around the edges but the way they conduct themselves can still have me admiring their 'classy moves'. Elegant, stylish people can be classless wankers wrapped up in shiny tinsel. The tinsel alone doesn't make them classy. Classy is choosing to take the higher road, acting for the greater good, having an instinct for kindness - in their heart and in their deeds. It's the manager at work who takes real pride in their team's work and gives them all the credit for shared successes. It's the lady in the train who quietly explains the world to her kids, answering their questions with patience and love, never speaking down to them. It's the friend who knows how to sit beside you in silence when you're grieving and sad, without needing to fix things and without pity. It's the first person to offer a seat to someone on the bus. It's people who take a stand against things that matter, whether they do it quietly or with barely restrained passion. Classy is who we are, not how we look.
