How to be successful on this site???!

However, what I've noticed in the last couple of years, is I am not having much success at all. I'm wondering what I am doing wrong! As far as I can tell the ratio of men to women on the site has increased a lot (any of my female friends on here report getting 100s of messages daily) so that might be the sole reason?
I do a lot better on the other dating apps, and in real life and I'm generally considered a reasonably attractive guy, plus I'm high on EQ, have a wicked sense of humour and a nice accent to boot! Plus I genuinely am a gentleman, and always have been.
I notice a lot of women are asking for amazing or hilarious opening lines or to jump through some hoops to even get a look in - I'm not a circus performer! And it's not my style to come up up with sleazy/cheesy chat up lines - what's wrong with just saying hello?! If we like the look of each other we can talk more....
Any guys experiencing similar issues? Or any women got any advice??
P.S. I Learnt recently that Perth is one of the few cities in the world where there are more men (and more single men) than women - maybe I need to move interstate!🤔🤣

I would suggest some clearer photos of yourself. You sitting on the rock is nice and clear. Many of the others look old they may not be but they are grainy. Grainy or blurry photos allow people to make assumptions. Assumptions are the mother of all F-ups but in a place like here, people just scroll on. Also be mindful of what is in the background of your photos. As an INFJ I'm sure you take notice as I do and yes we judgy shits will judge you.

Yes ' l've been here quite a few years now and have noticed a decline in the way things use to work.. I realise Covid took its toll but l dont blame that alone..
One thing l have noticed is the amount of women who presume youre hitting on them just because you reply to thier posts more than once.. Truth is ' l dont hit on anyone ? If anyone cares to read my profile ' they will see ' unless they are prepared to meet in a neutral location before hand, it just wont happen.. ?
Maybe this is because women are getting loads of mexsages everyday , but we dont get to know this until someone complains.. Besides ' l feel the longer ppl are here , the more they become addicted to these forums....

Profile is well written and not crass, and your photos are genuine. You have 2 good validations. Ive found since Covid people seem to be content with chatting and not actually meeting. Its been really frustrating. I find attending social and Club events is the best way to meet people these days.

Step 1. Learn to recognize the sheer volume of fake profiles in here. Messaging the plethora of clearly fake profiles and expecting a positive response is foolhardy. Aside from the blokes pretending, the porn, instagram and prostitute profiles, RHP uses what theyve referred to as “test profiles”…. what they test is anyones guess.
Accepting then, that the minute number of genuine profiles in here may be receiving messages from literally hundreds of guys, determine how you will stand out in the noise of boring, creepy, demanding and offensive messages from empty profiles, flexing mirror profiles and dick-obsessed profiles
Having a dick doesn’t mean acting like one is appealing.
Even “expecting” a reply is problem…. just as you shouldn’t expect a defined outcome when you meet someone in the wider world beyond the wet sticky walls of RHP.

If great openers aren't your thing, go to events. I don't get 100s of messages each day, but I have received a lot over time and they don't grab my attention. This forum isn't really for me, but I'm not on any other sites or pages. I'm mostly here for the occasional event.
