I'd probably still be waiting....thats the trouble with being a confirmed voyeur....get distracted by the madding crowd. Thanks for the reminder tho, next time Im on a 'date' I'll be sure to set my alarm although, if he's not there before me then Im miffed from the get go.

I reckon half an hour is about right. I don't remember anyone keeping us waiting that long, and we are never late usually a bit early.....i am a bit anal about punctuality!Though i guess you have to allow a bit of leeway.Cheers Nev

Bloody Julia.......arrrrggghhhh god save us! At least she doesnt have a whole lot of clout, the three independents have the real power! and quite frankly i find that kind of a bad joke or nightmare.Be interesting to see if and how long the whole thing lasts/works and what shape the country and our wallets will be in at the end of it!Cheers Nev

If I have a set time that I am meeting someone...if Im running late...I make sure I text BEFORE the time Im meant to be there....and if Im waiting for someone...if I havent heard from them within 15 minutes of the set time..Im outta there.It's not hard to text someone to tell them you are still coming but running late....it's just good manners.JMO...BJxxx

I'm with Miss BJ here if i haven't heard from them i would only wait 15 mins, if i have heard and there is a good reason then maybe 1/2 hour or so but other than that i am outta there!!this is the day and age of mobile phones after all and it is so easy to let someone know you are running late, touch wood so far i have been lucky and no one has been late or not showed up but hey i guess i have jinxed that record now lol oh well

If I don't hear from then I would only wait 10 - 15 minutes. If they texted me BEFORE the arranged time I would wait maybe half hour the most. I am lucky too as where I have had noone stand me up or turn up late. But I did meet a guy once and I turned up 5 minutes early...he told me had already ordered his food and didn't even ask if I wanted to eat...needless to say, I got up and walked out. Selfish when we met, then my guess would be selfish if we did anything. xFunlovingx

I waited 2 and a half hours once for a guy who never showed up and didnt contact me for two weeks after our suggested meeting date.... People around me kept staring at me wondering why i was in a bar all by myself. One guy even bought me flowers and said hope your night gets better!! Well it did coz i jumped in a cab and went to a swingers club by myself for the first time ever and had an awesome night!!!! Turns out the guy broke his leg!!!! Hell I thought i must have been his fingers!!! lol Sweet F xx

i waited 3 hours once...but only because i was enjoying the peace without the kids and i was texting another bloke and watching the people around me by the time fireman Mike turned up i had forgotten all about him haha....gorgeous man that one, well worth the wait hehe roxxy

Give them 10 min max then I may or may not be there depending on what the place is like and if I have met someone else in that time I do however give a little allowance if I am contacted prior to the meet to say they are running late and of course return the same courtesy. Kisses Focus

They sure did turn up and the great time had by all is to be repeated in the near future. I wanted to say thanks to everyone while I was here, lovely to get so many responses!Love the idea of people being so keen they get there early, then no worries about them turning up or not while we're waiting and definitely would be taken as a compliment! We are pretty easy going though and considering there are 2 of us, I imagine we'd be happy to wait a while depending on what else we had to do. Too fond of our time alone together heheheh Hugs... I wait ages too, been stood up by the same person three times but I'm too nice to do anything but offer them another try.I try not to count the seconds because by the end of the hour all you have is sore fingers and nothing to show for em. I'm just the sort of person that relaxes in the moment.RobAll the best things in life come with a delay involved.
