if this is for the purpose of filling in your profile... well, measuring it properly is a bit difficult, so the commonly accepted/used method is to look at a ruler, then look at your cock, then compare the two to estimate how long it is... probably between 12 and 14 inches :)(the only measurement that really makes any sense is how much you can insert - you might be able to feel a good 12 inches of monster cock erection, but if 10 of those inches are hidden cause of an equally monster fat gut/groin and only 2 are exposed.. well.. thats all thats getting used innit :) )

Thanks to all the coments so far, most of them are very funny, I had an email with a link from flash111au which was a perfect answer albeit might have been an advert that that does not matter. Some even refer to the metric and the imperial system of measurement which is the main reason for my question as I believe that the length is being misreported on the profile and in a lot of cases is simply untrue as well as the pushing into the groin to get an extra inch or two. Ah, but which ones? becasue you can use the thumb and the four fingers are all different lengths. Im sure there are lots of creative ways to get a 'good' measurement. But essentually, who are you kidding? Personally, we feel that there is only one real way to measure, and that's from the pubic area, straight up the torso, over the shoulder, down your back, through your crack, over some balls (two hopefully, just split through the middle) and up the shaft to the tip. Sure, its the long way, but anything worth doing, is worth doing properly :P
