How accurate is the nearby

  It depends on where people have specified their location (for privacy it may not be anywhere near their actual address), or if they have their gps/location tracking enabled when logged in on a phone. I use it especially living regionally, as there's only a handful of active profiles nearby, it's easy to tell if someone new joins up. - Posted from rhpmobile

  For example when we were in QLD recently, we needed to list ourselves as in the location in QLD for the locals to show up.

  If you allow the mobile app to track your location it will show you members near to you. I don't use it, but have been told that people can appear right next to you according to the app, when they're actually some kilometers away.
