How I met your mother

So after reading another thread, (thank you OP) got me thinking, and of course off on a tangent I went. What does attract us to other people, not in the sense of passing strangers, but on a more intimate level.Now the tv sitcom in the title is where I was led....the two females leads...Robin ( Cobie Mulders ) and Lily ( Alyson Hannigan )both very different women, but to me equally attractive. Maybe Lily.. just, but tommorrow it could be Robin.The qualities that Hannigan brings to her character, the little mannerisms, her ditziness, and I just love her voice, and eyes.Then there is Cobies character, definetly a beauty, a knock around character, one of the boys.Comments, what do you think? who would you date?For the girls, which character would you date.......Marshall (Jason Segel) if he wasn't with LilyBarney (Neil Patrick Harriss)orTed (Josh Radnor)and WHY? and conversely why not.For the gay/bi people jump in where ever it suits.Apologies if your not familiar with the show.Cheers Nev.....look forward to seeing who picks Barney when I get back from Sydney....lol

    Hey Nev,I don't like the girls on the show.. they are both lame characters I think. Marshall is cute but too straight and would expect me to always take the lead in the bedroom. Ted is also cute but is looking for marriage and the a happy ever after and is probably a missionary position with the occasional doggy thrown in. Not adventurous enough.Now Barney... well I don't normally go for blonde blue eyed blokes who are extraordinarily naughty, but I think he would be the most fun, just because he is naughty, likes to have fun & doesn't take things too seriously. xxMeeks

    Is this what its come to Nev? Discussing a sitcom, more to the point... discussing which ficticious character is more dateable than another? I'm sorry. Computer says no. There's nothing really exciting or in the least bit intellectually stimulating about this discussion, and quite frankly.... I had expected better from someone as aged and supposedly 'wise' as you. I prefer the question, who is the biggest whore a) Paris Hilton, b) Kim Kardashian c) Joan Rivers or d) all of the above. Is that what passes for intellectual conversation or god forbid healthy debate nowadays? Shit.... I hope not. As it stands, we're exposed to over 3,000 commercial images every day. I can't even remember basic maths but somehow thanks to constant saturation, I know everything about Brad & Ange and their cricket eating children, the incredible life changing significance of a lock of Justin Bieber's hair and that Katy Perry swears by Proactiv religiously. Do you see a theme here? I don't want to know any of this stuff, but when its getting flung at you seemingly every second of the day... how the hell can you avoid it? As for commercial images, here's one more... check out darkcorners.com.au, they're selling a book about TV and film that you might be interested in. Its called '100 Movies To See... Before I Kill You!', a light-hearted and funny read about some really heavy movies and the best part is, they're aussies, not ratty seppos or closeted 'awesome' homosexuals. I know I know, Cobie Smulders is Canadian... and thank god. At least one of them is.

    Not really much on television worth watching...other than the odd out episode of "Glee" when Gwyneth Paltrow happens to be on...now that's a mother I would like to meet.     I have a thing for Jason Segal anyway, so I'm gonna have to say 'Marshall'... For no other reason than I'm attracted to guys who are different. Neither of a girls do anything for me either. (MRS)

    not attracted to any of them either, and the show sort of annoys me mostly loll. . JJ someone who is pansexual is attracted to any person, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Simply put, they are attracted to people talk about maximising your options hey Krissy?

    OK Krissy and DGT.. Now I know.. and I thought I was a man of the world.. I feel like Im back in kindergarten again.. but then again theres a certain innocence in being young again... anyway, thats my story and Im sticking to it...Krissy' talk about the world is your oyster.. must be good just to roll with the flow like that.. if the world was full of people like you ' Im sure we wouldnt have any wars.. awww well ' at least being hetro' I also dont get to choose and concentrate only on yummy girls...DGT... PAN sexual... has nothing to do with the POT calling the KETTLE black..now has it ? lol

    It may be just a rumour (although I damn well doubt it) that the first time "somebody" heard that word...she went straight to the website and tried to order a Scanpan that was 6 ft. wide. | I am curious, DGT...how in the hell were you planning getting it up to temperature? | ...you're kinda scary sometijmes.     It's probably a good thing I don't start threads very often eh....lol.......talk about a shot duck! Although It's my fault, I got a little sidetracked and didn't quite steer the vehicle where I wanted it to go.Even Nick missed the point, not even the slightest ruffling of his hair as it rocketed over his head.Apologies for leaving you out Krissy....and others, no matter what your leanings are.Oh and thanks for the shitty weather on the weekend Sydney...Although the eye candy was still pretty awesome.Cheers Nev....I wonder if Rhp has revoked my Licence to Op.....I have this really good idea for a post....bahahaha
