Hotties at Work

November 17 2010

I have noticed in the past few years that more and more women or particularly the younger girls are wearing more and more sexy outfits to work. Fishnet stockings, stilettos, short skirts and even shorter shorts, very tight skirts, lots of tit showing. Sometimes G-strings showing above the pants. A friend of mine was telling me about a girl she works with whose jeans are so low cut that you can see her pubic hairs growing back. Don't get me wrong I think the girls look gorgeous but is it really appropriate for work? And if you get so dressed up in the day what do you wear when you go out? I mean how do you boys get any work done? Do you find it distracting?? Or am I just showing my age here??? MEEKA (OMG I hope I don't turn into one of those grumpy old women....... )

Ive always been a big supporter of good looking young female staff. Always kept it respectful of course, being work and all, never mentioned how look she looked just treated her normally. Found it that it got me more attention being the only dude not paying attention. Aah those were the days. Our receptionist in new office is... well. Bit more mature.

Several years ok , i use to work with a women who wore VERY short skirts to work ... none of us blokes complained - lol . But its was interesting that in the end a few of the women took offense to it , and she was spoken too by management . I guess there can be a fine between employers dictating dress - and discrimination .

Well i work in a predominantly female office and the general vibe there is 'conservative office wear' saying that we aren't dressed like nuns but no boobs out and no pubic hair lolMr GC actually finds businesslike looking gals VERY sexy and so what i wear to work seems to work for him Over the years i have worked in so many different roles and places of work from retail and hospitality to office environment and for me i tend to dress appropriate for the job and save the sexy stuff for after hours.I think that for women in particular to be taken seriously for promotions and advancement then you really do need to be dressed for the job you want, otherwise even if you do get a promotion based on your skill the other jealous cows around you are going to think you just slept your way to the top!! lolI guess i am a bit old fashioned in my view on this one and i am prepared for others to disagree with me but it is just my opinion, great topic.Mrs GC

Not so fine if you work in a area where they handle or serve food. I have been guilty of wearing short skirts and low cut blouses under an open jacket to court when I worked as a PA to a lawyer. I dress comfortable but sexy so I can't blame the young girls for doing the same. Provided it's appropriate of course. Meeka old? Never!!

I work in the Sydney CBD and it's a veritable Poon Fest these days. Those kind of outfits are not what I would call neat professional and if I had a business that involved clients visiting the premises I'd make policy to ensure correct attire. Having said that, it makes a much nicer ambiance than working with a bunch of sweaty foul mouthed construction workers.

ruggedly_rugged...don't put us all in a box come work for a couple of years in a hard labour job...then after those couple of years when u go home at the end of the day and you cannot move because your back has seized because the people in the office decided to cut costs which made ur job harder then you may understand why we can get colourful mouths from time to time put on the whole i do try to limit my swearing but sometimes the situation just calls for it lol scott

I have a little minx working for me at the moment (professional only - a little too young) and the stuff she wears would blow your mind. It is all I can do not to look to obvious. Tight, short skirts and blouse that seem to button at the crouch. Fantastic - realy works up the appetite. She is a smart girl - In fact there is NOTHING more sexy than a girl with brains who dresses to impress. I am all for it.

I can do without the frustration. My secretary has very large breasts and she wears very tight tops. I do love the way she looks and dresses. The fact that she is a bit of a bimbo makes it easier for me to not get too excited. Oh yeah, she is married too. lol. I have a mechanical workshop but It must be so easy in the corporate world to make a sexual harassment case, especially with all of the corporate functions and parties where alcohol is available. It is a bit unfair on the guys I guess but i don't see too many of them complaining. lol.

....merely a sexist attitude. Unfair on the guys? No! I was once the only female in a workshop environment. The lack of air conditioning meant that wearing as little as possible was almost mandatory in summer. I had to work alongside young, gorgeous bare chested/bonds singleted guys. Nothing unfair about that! And if your "bimbo" of a secretary is so bad why hire her in the first place? Maybe it was the tight tops....

Particularly about women sleeping to the top or getting to the top on their knees. Not that there is anything wrong with that. LOL There's only about 8% of women on boards of Australia's top companies. I am not sure what helps you get to the top but I do know that if you wear clothes that are considered provocative that will be used against you in a a sexual harrassment case. . . after all, we all know that women dress that way just to tease men and men can't possibly control their libidos. If you were raped on the way to or from work and were wearing a short skirt and low cut top, again the lawyer for the defence would use that as an argument against the victim. It would indicate that the victim was "asking for it". As a manager, I have never had anyone wear anything too inappropriate. Because I had been conditioned to wear clean and conservative clothes I was challenged in one position by a co-worker who wore low cut tops but I got over it and started wearing them occasionally myself. If fishnets suit the skirt I'm wearing, I will wear them as well , but generally I think a hint of the sexy woman that lies beneath the clothes is better than the full exposure in the workplace. After all, we can't have those "incapable of self-control" men getting sidetracked from their jobs and lured into bad behaviour. WILDLY defending women's right to dress as they please

I love it when sexy workmates turn up at work wearing something a bit naughty. Doesn't really happen in my line of work unfortunately. I am in a female dominated industry too so that really does make it more interesting ;) Hugs, Fun

I don't sack her because it is too hard to train someone. I am also too nice a guy. I cant sack people that easily. I actually hired a much older woman previously but i did get rid of her as after 2 months of her being there, i was still going over everything.........basically she was useless. She was making my life miserable. My secretary or office clerk before her was actually a male. I dont employ people on their looks, age or what they are wearing. I don't believe in sexual harrasment whether it be in the workplace or not. I was just stating a fact that because she isn't as clever as what i initially had thought (a BIT ditsy) it is easier for me not to think about her in a sexual way. Not that i would have gone there in the first place. 2 reasons. One is she works for me and if things didn't work out or got bitter it would get very messy. Second is she is married.
